My attention has been drawn by a client
to false statements about me and my business to the effect that I threatened Mr. Ambrose Ehirim's life through
one Philip Eriri. I met with Mr. Ehirim on Friday, November 25, 2005, and explained to him that those statements
were false and lacked any foundation whatsoever. He promised to take corrective action immediately. I also asked
Philip Eriri if my name ever came up at a pepper soup joint in a discussion with Mr. Ehirim. He denied that fact.
I have met Maazi Ehirim few times in my life, and all those meetings
were cordial. I accidentally came across Mr. Ehirim's take on Oliver De Coque's visit to Los Angeles from a cross
posting on Waawa-Net. I was struck by Mr. Ehirim's apparent in depth knowledge of music. I was at the venue from
12:30 am to 1:30 am. I could not find any parking space. The time Oliver De Coque mentioned my name, I was seated
and no where near the stage. I am glad I was able to show my support for the legendary musician.
I am not one to threaten anybody, especially not over their exercise of freedom of speech.I am an advocate of the
rule of law. I treasure First Amendment Rights, but I have gone to court and won, over slander and libel.
The allegations that I was in any way connected with any threat made to Mr. Ehirim is false. I am disappointed
that I did not have the opportunity to tell my own side of the story. I would have been able to debunk such false
allegations in one second before the lengthy cyber thread was developed or my picture put up as if, for a mob lynching.
