Nigeria: "A Paradise in Hell"
by Peter C. Eze ---
“Give me liberty or give me death”…,May I also add the popular saying that those who make a peaceful revolution impossible make a violent revolution inevitable.“People have right to elect a government to serve its needs according to the rule of law and if that government does not meet the people’s expectation, the people have right to remove that government and elect a new government that will meet its expectation” ~~~ Henry Lock.
By so saying, I ask, how did Nigeria degenerate and sink to the level she is now? How did the country get to this state of monumental ineptitude? How did Nigeria allow an untamed, un-rehabilitated ex-convict and a tribal zealot to acquire such an absolute and unprecedented power to oversee the nation’s affairs, it’s abundant human and material resources? How did people in a country that can conveniently pride itself to have the most educated people of every profession of human endeavors on African soil, keep mute while the nation is sinking? Why did the national weather service men and women fail to warn Nigerians of the impending hurricane? Who provided Olusegun Obasanjo with ‘MAD’(Mutual Assured Destruction) weapon he has been un leashing on Nigeria and Nigerians? Who invented for him the political acid he has been pouring on the nation’s political waters? Who made him the judge, the prosecutor, the complainant and the jury? Who made him, the president, the nation’s financial controller and dispenser, the legislature, the chief justice, the police commander, the military commander, the security chief, the destroyer-in-chief, the killer-in-chief as well as the investigator-in-chief? Why and how did Nigerians allow an emperor and a despot in the nation’s political soil as against a democratic leader and still refer to what she has now as a democracy? Who brought the idea of making him the president? The simple answer,….. the northern military and it’s arm of political vampires Why? To keep igbos out of Nigeria’s political and leadership parameters.(Revisit the political fraud and tribal exhibition during the PDP convention in Jos in 1998 between Dr. Alex Ekwueme and Olusegun Obasanjo).
Obasanjo’s presidency is the product of the then Hausa dominated military and it’s civilian paymasters, the Yoruba and the southern Nigeria’s minorities’ complicities in their conspiracy to perpetuate marginalization, dominate, demoralize and debase Ndigbo and keep them out of Nigeria’s political equation and economic main stream. By so doing, they had bargained more than they could chew. There has been talks about the agreement Obasanjo had with the north before he was made president of Nigeria in 1999. Agreement for what? What were in those agreement? Were the Yoruba leaders in the picture or in the know of the agreement? If the north according to it, conceded the presidency to the southwest to placate the Yoruba for the nullification of the late chief MKO Abiola’s presidential victory of 1993, why did the Yoruba community reject him? And why did it not pick someone acceptable by his people? Charity they say begins at home. And why were igbos not placated for the murder of General Aguiyi-Ironsi who was murdered by the rampaging northern military in July 29, 1996, even though Ironsi’s military and political actions were more pro-north than south? Even at that, why Obasanjo, who still had a hangover of treason, felony, anger and resentment? Why not Olu Falae or any other Yoruba man? Why, why, and why? Because Obasanjo is a member of the inner group and a signatory to the conspiracy against Ndigbo. Pure and simple. Pundits will mention the presence of Ebitu Ukiwe in the deputy’s office during the administration of IBB and the zoning of the senate president to the southeast. That is political hogwash and fraudulently pedantic. These were nothing more than political camouflage.
Dr. Alex Ekwueme was Shagari’s vice president in the 2nd republic. The palace coup of December 31, 1983 was a face saving for the north and it’s political establishment, because it would have been difficult for the northern political establishment to explain to their people why they should support an igboman for president in 1987 (according to the NPN zoning formula) against the article of the conspiracy. The north was aware of Ekwueme’s loyalty to the north and alhaji Shehu Shagari, but why did Shagari and the major northern political establishment not impress it upon their military wing in 1998 to support him for the president despite the fact that he was founder of PDP when Obj was in jail? It is no secret that the leadership of Nigeria is the prerogative of the north, so it thought, the Yoruba as the junior partner, with the southern minorities…( the bearer of some crumbs of the national pie and some political appointments), as long as they support and help to keep the igbos away from the national political scene. Another angle to the Obasanjo presidency was made possible because Yar’dua was dead. Were he alive, the presidency would not have come to the south. Never mind he was Obj’s partner-in-fraud and corruption, 1976-1979. There was a story from a well placed source that some time during the alhaji Shehu Shagari’s presidency, while on tour to India, inside his plane, he beckoned one of his aids to come to see him at the presidential cabin. When his aid came, he pulsated, before telling the aid his encounter with Brigadier Shehu Musa Yar’dua in his office. He told his aid that Yar’dua came to his office and was furious about the NPN zoning the presidency to the south. He (Yar’dua) told him the presidency would only go to the south over his dead body, that they spilled their blood to preserve the presidency for the north, so if he Alhaji Shagari was tired, he should relinquish the presidency to another northerner. Apparently, he did not feel comfortable with the president’s demeanor, so he perhaps alerted the northern military establishment. Hence the palace coup of December 31, 1983. The southern presidency was of-course made possible over his dead body. He was dead right. So in 1998, the north and it’s power structure… the military, seeing the United States and other western angst on the pariah nature of Nigeria with her abundant oil reserve, ordered for a political package, but when they opened it in 1999 on it’s delivery, it found that it was not what it ordered and that Babangida and it’s military hierarchy had 419ed it. Hence it’s call for the gentleman’s agreement.
The diluted version of what is now known to be Nigeria’s constitution by General Abdul Salami Abubakar was made with the certainty that Obasanjo was either not going to serve out the constitutional four years or at best he would only be there for 4 years and then handover to a northerner who would continue to implement the constitution as was diluted. You will recall that Abdul Salami Abubakar refused to release the constitution until after Obj was sworn in. Now the angry Obj capitalized on the northern grand design and political miscalculation to amass an unprecedented and monumental power. He has gone into the presidency with vengeance. With the help of the United States and Britain, he fired the first thunder on assuming office in 1999. After the rain, the cannibals, the pot bellies and professional coup mongers in the military uniforms saw them selves packing home to enjoy their loots. With the exit of the cannibals - the military, otherwise the main northern political power structure for leadership domination, the north capitulated. The northern strength and power caved in and collapsed. The so-called northern unity or what they would like us to hear and believe,(The Ahamdu Bello phenomenon) became a myth. The army, trimmed off excesses fat is now under Obj pocket, he moved and got the police under a Yoruba command.(see Alhaji Muslin K. Smith, later, Alhaji Mustafa Balogun and now Sunday Ehindero). With the army under the American and British telescope and the police well under the control of Obj, he broke into the nation’s treasury, off loaded whatever naira found there into GMG (Ghana Must Go Bag) took them to the national assembly. The official ‘Nigerian language’ (Corruption) was spoken on the floor of the NASS and bam! chief Evan Ewerem was appointed senate president and Salihu Buhari the speaker of the House. When the senators exhausted all they got from Obj to corruptly appoint chief Ewerem as the senate president and with the certificate scandal that took Buhari out of the House of representative speaker’s chair , some decent and few honest ones among them impressed it upon the NASS on the need for the legislatures to see it as the symbol of democracy, hence the dumping of Ewerem and the election of the late Dr. Chuba Okadigbo as the senate president and Gali Umar NA’aba as the House speaker.
With Okadigbo as the senate president, and Na’aba as the House speaker, the nation began to see some flashes of legislative independent. To the chagrin of Obasanjo, naira again was deployed, the tribal irredentists and igbo hate mongers, led by Idris Kuta and Jonathan Zwigina went to work. Within few days, Okadigbo was removed and an ‘ex-bomboy’ was appointed in his place by Obasanjo to camouflage the treatment Ndigbo is getting from Obj. From thence the senate surrendered it’s independent and it’s constitutional power on the alter of corruption and become the appendage of the executive. Why was it so easy to remove Okadigbo as the senate president, but somewhat hard rock to knock out Na’aba? This was because igbo man lacks political backing and is dispensable in Nigerian political environment due to irredentism and hatred igbos are subjected to in Nigeria. With the army, the police and the NASS under his control, the shuffle and maneuver saw the head of SSS, an igboman out and Kayode Are a Yoruba man in. The military intelligence a Yoruba, the commandant, Jaji, a Yoruba, the central bank governor a Yoruba, de-facto minister of finance, a Yoruba, PPRA chairman (Petroleum Pricing Regulation Agency) a Yoruba, DPR, director (Department of Petroleum Resources) Yoruba. Minister of petroleum, Yoruba, specifically Obasanjo. Minister of justice a Yoruba. Minister of education a Yoruba. NUC (National University Commission) chairman, a Yoruba. Accountant-General, Yoruba. Auditor-General, a Yoruba. The ‘amalanization’ and ‘owambenization’ of his administration is complete. Even at that, Obasanjo became one man cabinet, minister, foreign and domestic, the chief justice, the financial controller-general, legislature, the traditional king maker and the chief political and economic adviser to his own government.
The intimidation of Nigerians became obvious. First, the police would go to the senate president at 3.00 a.m. and intimidated him. Next, the military visited Odi and demolished the town and it’s people, with thousands dead. Next military stop would be Zaki-Biam. The command was “demolish any moving and non-moving objects”. For the first 4 years 1999-2003, Obasanjo vented his anger and rage on Nigerians, even at the situation where Nigerians were in the shallow of death, like the Lagos bomb explosion, he would not give a damn about the lives of Nigerians and their feelings in the midst of death, hence his outburst at the dying residents being bathed with bombs.
His ministerial appointments and board chairmanships then, showed that sensitive and lucrative positions were given to his sycophants, boot lickers, concubines or I may say, agents of his concubines or his match makers. The post of minister of works was assigned to a dismissed corrupt police officer who can not differentiate between asphalt tarring and coal tarring and yet 300 billion naira was made available to him which he shared between himself, Obj, his other political vampires and their contractors. With the legislature annexed as extension of the executive, the military and police under his pocket, the security, legal, academic and resource control, completed, political control was to be embarked upon.
The PDP must be ‘Aremunized’, therefore all the foundation members must be fired. On their exit, PDP has become personal industry for corruption and terrorism. He employed and empowered some disoriented and fraudulent members of the society into the new party as chairmen of the party and BOT, and renamed it PDP--- Peoples Dysfunctional Party.
Mission accomplished. He now attained the position of emperor and heartless dictator. He requested and was granted by the senate, EFCC, known as the police arm of PDP government to be used to whip up political enemies real and imaginary, into submission or outright removal from office. The emergency of EFCC has robbed the regular police a major economic bonanza and financial exhortation of lump sums hence the police regimentation of 20 naira from the motorists and periodic threat of strike. In his new PDP, a killer squad was established for political assassinations. There is also trained and well financed mules, young and old of every class in PDP for infiltration and destabilization of any unsanctioned organization whether cultural, social and or political. All the organized and non organized bodies in the country have been infiltrated , be it NANS, legal profession, even the trade union and political parties. Common civil demonstration to express constitutional rights of free assemble as enshrined in the constitution is completely banned by the dictator-in-chief. All symbol and ingredients of democracy have been disbanded by the political czar. The nation’s constitution is irrelevant to him.
In the United States there is CIA whose primary role is the external intelligent security net work for security, military, political and economic efficiency of the country. There is FBI for national investigation and dictation of crimes such as murder, fraud and corruption. There are federal, state and local government police with lines drawn on sand for their operational parameters, whose primary focus are the protection of citizens of the United States wherever they may be. There is legislature that makes laws for the good of the people of United States. There is a court of law which is the last hope of the common man. What do you have in Nigeria? SSS for intimidation, abuse and violation of human rights. EFCC, PDP police arm for emasculation, humiliation, intimidation and suppression of vocal political critics of his fraudulent political gamble and his life presidency. There is another police that go with the acronym NPF, whose primary assignment is for political terrorisms against Nigerian citizens, agents for crooks, political and economic vampires. There is INEC whose purpose is to select people in various political positions against the constitutional provision of democratically elected officials. Ever since Prof. Humphrey Nwosu, the country ceases to have a genuine INEC chairman. One wonders how Obasanjo’s Nigeria would have been without people like Odumegwu Ojukwu, Gani Faheimni, Wole Shoeinka, Falana and great many Nigerians I would no be able to name here due to space constrain.
It is not a happy sign for a country to be in economic quagmire, it is more dangerous for the same country to be in both economic predicament and political uncertainty. If one speaks his/her mind, more so on the nation’s political, social and economic whores, he/she is sure to be visited by the SSS, EFCC and the police. Where the intimidation, humiliation and harassment fail, assassination squad takes over. No group of any kind can now assemble for ordinary social or political gathering. Even family reunion is monitored and infiltrated. All the political parties including his PDP have destroyed or destabilized for fear of opposition. The vampires have now introduced political weddings, where all the execu-thieves and murderers assemble to exhibit their fraudulent and sprawling political life styles in the face of grueling poverty, hunger and starvations. Simple political criticism elicit police and security terrorism. The nation is scared. Scared to the point where political campaign is now extinct in Nigeria. Only one Nigeria is bold enough so far to tell the nation that he is running for the president of Nigeria come 2007. His name is Orji Kalu, Abia State governor. Corruption and fraud are more daring in Nigeria now than ever. Armed robbers now operate with complete impunity. The country has never been that bad and dangerous. Obj has trained and maintain infiltrators of the nation’s honest groups and society, but could not train infiltrators to criminals, armed robbers, corruption monsters and cultists. He has scared day light out of the governors that they are now willing to subvert the constitution to avoid EFCC expose. In Nigeria only the economic fraudsters are the ones bold enough to vie for political offices. EFCC has assumed the job of both investigation, jury, judge and prosecution. The presidency stinks. There is no difference between Obj and Atiku as far as corruption is concerned, except that Atiku steals with his name, Obj steals through fronts. If his anti-corruption war is real let him tell Nigerian who owns Gwarimpa housing estate. Fellow, Nigerians, wake up and retake your God given country before the darkness replaces day light.

The Yoruba Nation: What's Up?
by Peter C. Eze --- As a child growing up, I was made to understand that the Yoruba is the most educated, most organized, most intelligent, most united, most sophisticated, best politicians and most everything under the sun. The same was said of the north minus the most educated. In my adult life I am beginning to question whether that notion is a fact or a myth. Whatever it is, Obasanjo and the drama going on in Ibadan have shown that all those notions are a myth.
It has also been said that Awolowo could have been the best leader Nigeria would have ever produced, but given the Obasanjo phenomenon and Yoruba leaders political antecedents, I don’t know how many people that still hold to that fallacy. I cannot decipher the difference between the late chief Awolowo and chief Olusegun Obasanjo. Both have history of treasonable felony, both are ex-convicts, both are tribal zealots, both are igbo haters, both are opportunists, both are introverts, both are corrupt, both have no human conscience.
Well people will argue that the late chief died before he could actualize his three attempts, but he left an imprint that leaves no one in doubt as to what kind of prime minister or president he would have been. After the northern military mutiny in the summer of 1966, General Ojukwu released Awolowo from Calabar prison. By 1967, the late chief had become Gowon’s finance minister and vice chairman of the federal executive council. Between then, while chief Anthony Enahoro was junketing the world denouncing Ojukwu and 50% resource control which Ojukwu had successfully secured for the south at Aburi Ghana, Awolowo was advocating and implementing starvation against Ndigbo as a weapon of war, never minding the young, the pregnant women and the elderly. Never mind that he had advised and supported that there was no basis for Nigerian unity. Such that east would go, west would go, mid-west would go and north would go. Never mind that in 1952, he injected tribalism into the nation’s political horizon by undermining Dr.Nnamdi Azikiwe’s opportunity to become premier of the west Nigeria, through his tribal bigotry.
As for Aremu, I wonder if he could have still been in power if it hadn’t been for Ndigbo. What happened to his first term, 1999 through 2003 when there were no Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iwuala, Prof. Charles Soludo or Dr. Oby Ezekwsili? Yet this man would stop at nothing to undermine Ndigbo and what they stand for. Supposing there were no Ngozi Iwuala, no Soludo, no Akunyiri, no Ernest Ndukwu and no Oby Ezekwesili, what would have Nigeria been like under Obasanjo? Yet if this opportunist was not in Akwa Ibom desecrating Ojukwu, and Ndigbo and how he single handedly defeated Biafra, he would be at Amichi reminding Ndigbo how he averted their massacre at the end of the civil war in which Britain and Russia as well as US inaction fought for them.
During his first term, a period of yorubaniztion of Nigeria and her resources, he spent the whole four years creating political and economic empire for the yoruba. He had ‘Prof’ Borishade in the ministry of education, who refused to up grade Alvan Ikoku college of education to a university, but in partnership with Dr. Peter Okebukola of the NUC, they flooded Yoruba land with mediocre universities in the name of private universities, while other states or tribes were denied their applications for more universities. He had one Olujmni in the ministry of justice as A-G, whose legacy was injustice and misinterpretation of Nigeria’s constitution. He has Martin Kuye as the de-facto minister of finance, who in alliance with Joseph Sanusi in the central bank making sure the oil money was being dumped in the west, hitherto Obasanjo was and is still the oil minister. In the police establishment, first he had Alhaji Muslin K. Smith, whose legacy was intrusion and humiliation of the nation’s senate president, the late Dr. Okadigbo. Perhaps he was too slow in his application of police to terrorize Nigerians, he booted him out and brought in one the most notorious hypocrite Africa has known in police uniform named Alhaji Mustafa Balogun. With Tafa Balogun in the police hierarchy, the rest is history. At NNPC, when perhaps chief Gaius Obaseki was not remitting enough money to the coffer of the west, he booted him out and replaced him with Kukpolokun, PPRA has Gbadamosi, and DPR has another Yoruba, the yorubanization of Nigeria’s oil resources was complete. In the financial and administration department, it was wholesome with Joseph Sanusi in the central bank, Naijeyu in the general accounting, Joseph Ajiboye was and is still is in the general auditing. The security department was not left out in the Yoruba factor. Perhaps what the late chief Awolowo could not complete in his life time, Obasanjo completed it in four years. He was not done yet. With the help of corruption, he sent Nigeria’s oil money to the gullible Nigerians in the nation’s parliament and like starving dogs unleashed from the barn and saw a heap of fried meat outside the barn, your guess is as good as mine. That was the end of Nigeria’s NASS. Today what we continue to hear is, Obasanjo building university in Badagary, Cargo international airport in Abeokuta, Ogun state, giant oil refinery in Ogun state, typical of the then northern military and political war lords that suffocated Kaduna with industries and federal establishments on the absence of non in other geo-political Nigeria.
If you think Obasanjo has exposed the Yoruba unity, administrative and intellectual fallacy, wait until you hear this. During the late chief MKO Abiola presidential row, while he was being locked up by that ‘sariki yanka’(killer-in-chief) called Sani Abacha, many prominent yorubas, about 20 in number under the chairmanship of the crying and prostrating ‘General’ Donaldson Oladipo Diya, were converged in Kaduna soliciting for Abiola’s indefinite detention in exchange for contracts and political appointments. The trade-off in long detention of the late chief and robbery of his presidential mandate saw the yorubas flooding Abacha junta with more ministers than any other ethnic group in Nigeria. As if that was not enough tribal tragedy and humiliation, the man who annulled Abiola’s presidential victory was whole heartedly received and embraced by the same Abiola’s brother in Yoruba land, and the echo of Babangida’s presidential ambition is loudest in the Yoruba territory. In 2003, Obasanjo carried the most sophisticated political 419 against the Yoruba nation. They fell for it, again in exchange for the same familiar terms- contracts and political positions. Like a raging fire, the west was over run by the PDP. The same west was given a new year gift in January 13, 2006 in Ibadan from Obasanjo through Alhaji Adedibu. The most educated people on Africa soil could not fathom the mathematical 2/3 of a given number. In 1979, the same west had problem figuring out 2/3 of 19. Hey! Brothers and sisters from the west what’s up? May be you have to go back and learn buying and selling like Nigbo according to one sister named Modupe Adelalaja. If the Yoruba nation allowed the façade in Ibadan to stand, their claim of unity, intellectual and political wisdom are punctured forever.
It does not matter any longer if Dr. Nwabueze Ngige was removed by Obasanjo today or tomorrow through the instrument of his personified judiciary, Ndigbo have shown and demonstrated to Obasanjo that they are the most united and were no pushovers. Never mind the likes of Ubas, Maduekwes, Nzeribes and Mbadiwes. He used the late AIG Rafael Ige to over throw Ngige, Ndigbo resisted him. He employed the service of justice Egbo-Egbo, Ndigbo showed him that they are educated in the legal field as well. He employed the service of justice Stanley Nnaji, again that blew in his face. He employed the service of Tafa Balogun. Balogun true to his nature, withdrew the police security service of governor Ngige, Ndigbo supplied him security personnel. Today Ngige is still the governor of Anambra State, while Tafa Balogun is in prison, Egbo-Egbo is out of judicial service and Stanley Nnaji is dismissed from the judicial service. In November of 2004, he armed pervert Chris Uba and his hoodlums, with his police supervision, these hoodlums unleashed mayhem in Anambra State, hoping that Ndigbo would retaliate which would play into his hands to employ the state of emergency, but Ndigbo showed him the road to advancement and wisdom. The state assembly members remained steady fast and ignored all his entreaties. In Ibadan it did not take the acting chief judge and 18 members in the 32 member house of assembly more than 48 hrs to remove governor Rashid Ladoje and install a less than high school pervert as deputy governor.
Today Afenifere is calling for impeachment of Obasanjo, alleging constitutional infringements. Haba! Was it not the same Afenifere in 2003, that threatened fire and brimstone should Obasanjo be impeached and even went as far as declaring Arthur Nzeribe, the author of Obasanjo’s twenty-one constitutional violations a persona non-graecia in Lagos. Among all the ministers in Obasnjo’s cabinet I can not think of any Yoruba minister or ministers making any headline in excellence in national development. Mr. Ojo his A-G and minister of justice has proved that all what Yoruba stand for in national political service is salary and spoil of the office. Mr. Ojo as we know was the president of Nigerian Bar Association, NBA for short, during which he was very vocal in calling Obasanjo regime to respect the rule of law and Nigeria’s judicial pronouncements. Today as the A-G and minister of justice, he has fallen in the same class of Olujimni of Obasanjo first term and Dr. Olu Onagoruwa under Abacha. Same lip service and yes type A-Gs.
Dr. Onagoruwa was known for his legal strength and was critical of military regimes. But once appointed attorney-general by Abacha, he subverted the press freedom by closing media houses viz, Guardian News paper and co. Mr. Ojo would never see any illegality in Obasanjo’s political actions, so long he would be allowed to draw salary and enjoy the spoil of the office. Mr. Ojo is presiding the plat form by which Obasanjo violates the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria. From the scheming and all tricks going on in an effort to actualize Obasanjo’s third term, is anyone still in doubt as to why he handed over very quickly to Alhaji Shehu Shagari in 1979? Several people had attributed his 1979 hand over as statesmanship, but it is clear now that his action was purely on personal safety based on military and political exigency then as opposed to statesmanship. The military then was dominated by the northern Moslems and would not relinquish power to any other tribe. The north then saw the southern Nigerians and Christians as subservient and 2nd class citizens. Any challenge to the power from any other tribe was unacceptable. Remember Atiku Abubakar great quote: “The north determines the direction of Nigeria’s politics and her political temperature. When the north sneezes the rest of the country catches cold”. That was vintage Atiku Abubakar.

Adieu Nigeria!
by Peter C. Eze --- In 1998, the Nigerian military peopled by intellectually delinquent, morally deficient, diplomatically decadent, ethically bankrupt, religious bigots and economic parasites in collaboration with their political sycophants released Olusegun Obasanjo from Yola prison and handed the post of Nigerian president to him on the platter of gold.
Little did they know that they were building marbles to entomb Nigeria's political horizon. Little did they know that by that deed, they were saying "Adieu" to Nigeria. Soon after the swearing ceremony on May 29, 1999, a journey that would terminate the nation's peaceful co-existence had been embarked upon. After the national disasters called Ibrahim Babangida and Sani Abacha, Nigerians yawned for a leader that would help them heal the religious, economic, political, social, security and psychological wounds inflicted on them by these barbarians. They yawned for a patriotic Nigerian who has interest of Nigeria and Nigerians at heart. They yawned for a God fearing Nigerian that will serve Nigerians' interest. They yawned for a leader not a dealer. They yawned for a true Nigerian. On February 27, 1999, an opportunity came to the Nigeria's political space and Nigerians went to the poll to elect a president.
What did they get? A president? Not at all. A patriot? Not at all. A God fearing man? No sir.
A bridge builder? Far from that. What then did they get?
They got a despot, a tyrant, ex-convict, a heartless man, a tribal zealot, an enemy of peace, a man who replaced normalcy with abnormal behavior. His name is Olusegun Obasanjo.
From May 29, 1999, Nigeria's peaceful co-existence was replaced with divisiveness. The face of the nation's political horizon became bruised with blood all over. The temperature of Nigeria's political process rose to more than 1000 degree centigrade. A simple process of political democracy jolted to a full scale lethal war. National police became terrorists. Election become terrorism against Nigerian people. Politicians and governors became arms importers. State government houses became armories. In Nigeria, there is no right to bear arms, but right to arm the 'bears'. Election was replaced with selection.
Criminals became policy makers and administrators, while God fearing Nigerians turned to beggars and paupers. Police against the citizens. Army against the citizens. Suppression took over freedom of speech. Human rights became animal rights. Fear and anxiety became a norm in Nigeria.
Unemployment, poverty, disease and lawlessness took over Nigeria's space. Corruption became the biggest industry that employed Obasanjo, his wives, children, Nigerian police, the army and his political sycophants. Armed robbery become police and military industry Ltd. Police training colleges and military training institutions train more bank robbers, assassins and bus hijackers more than professional security personnel. Nigeria's legislatives houses became bureau de change. Nigeria's tertiary institutions become training hubs for prostitutions, cultism, lesbianism, armed robbers, drug addicts and drug peddlers, 419ners, examination cheaters, fraud and all other social evils.
Obasanjo spends his presidential time and national resources empowering criminals to create violence and subvert states for political gains. A whole state could be subverted simply because he does not like the face of its elected state governor, as in Anambra State with an economic and criminal pervert, Chris Uba as the commander, Oyo state with religious and criminal pervert, Alhaji adedibu as the Commander, and Plateau State with corruption laden criminal, Alhaji Ibrahim Mantu as chief of staff. It is violence every where in Nigeria with Obasanjo as the instigator and sponsor. It is an undeniable facts that the Nigerian governors are corrupt beyond any one’s imagination. It is equally truism that their impeachments without due process is criminal as the corruption itself. Simple local government election is subject to police terrorism. Every election must be rigged in Nigeria. Election to appoint institution heads is subject to rigging. Governors turned directors of thugs and real estate brokers in the United States and Great Britain and other western countries. Media houses and independent TV stations are hounded every day for telling the truth to the nation. Hospitals in Nigeria are nothing but functional morgues. Roads are death traps. Electricity is a luxury only for Nigerian execu-thieves. Taps in the cities run perhaps 30 minutes a day every once in a while. Politics is a full scale lethal war. Assassinations are now state political campaign. Obasanjo has elevated political positions to personal political property whose challenger must be assassinated by all means. Obasanjo determines who lives and who dies in Nigeria.
EFCC was established to help Nigerians fight the monster called corruption and economic crimes, but Obasanjo has personalized it to fight and intimidate whoever he considers critic and potential encroacher into his political industry. He has personalized the security apparatus for political witch hunt.
If he is not hounding and intimidating you with Nuhu Ribadu, he is violating your civil liberty with Kayode Are. If he cannot win you over his constitutional violation, he is sending his police and Ahmadu Ali to intimidate and destabilize you.
Nigeria's democracy has become one man’s industry with Obasanjo as the only managing director, who has created Bill Gate of Nigeria in the names of Mike Adenuga and Alhaji Dangote. PDP that used to be known as People Democratic Party is now 'PDP'-Power to Divide People. Judgments of the nation's courts are nothing more than individual opinions. Obasanjo’s government is well above court order, police disregard court order, army cannot obey court order, ministers cannot not obey court order, INEC disregards court order. He has made a huge joke of the nation’s judiciary. Police as law enforcement agents are nothing but law breaking and terrorists protection agents and agents of political victimization. Under Obasanjo, perverts and hoodlums are empowered to destroy state properties and kill innocent citizens and their governors in the full watch of the police force. Under Obasnjo a common criminal would have hundreds of police guards for personal protection, while the citizens are left defenseless against men of the underworld and assassins. Under Obasanjo the only flourishing corporation in Nigeria is politics and its product is corruption. Obasanjo exports oil and import corruption, violence and divisiveness. Under Obasanjo, Nigerian police regimented 20 naira extortion from the motorists and public and it became official. Obasanjo concept of policing is intimidation, police terrorism and brutality against Nigerian citizens. Obasanjo has made it impossible for normal election to hold in Nigeria any more since he has officially endorsed rigging, terrorism and assassination. Official terrorism, brutality, intimidation, humiliation, selective probe, lawlessness, fear, starvation, mass sack, fraud and corruption are now elevated to state craft and become the only democratic dividend he has given to Nigerians .
Ordinary political misunderstanding is elevated to state sponsored terrorism. Divergent political ideology is not acceptable to Obasanjo and elicit political and economic retribution and even assassination.
Nigeria’s leadership stinks. Obasanjo's concept of political development, is tribe against tribe, state against state, city against city, Moslem against Christian, wife against husband, father against son, mother against daughter, political party against political party, police against citizens, army against police, above all Obasanjo against Nigerians.
This man has done collateral damage to Nigeria. Whether he hands over in 2007, or not, Nigeria will never be the same again. Politics will never be plaid in Nigeria peacefully. Election will never hold in Nigerian soil devoid of fatality. In advance democracy, they say politics is local, but under Obasanjo politics is personal. Nigerians pray. Pray that there will be a revolution that will sweep away Obasanjo, his sycophants and their diabolism over Nigeria and Nigerians. Pray that the year 2006 will filter away, the evils of that man and bring about changes that will reverse the misfortune of Nigeria. Please God Almighty save Nigeria and Nigerians from that murderous hypocrite and corruption czar. May You Almighty forbids his third term. Nigerians are sick of his military, police, political, economic, social, religious and psychological torture.

Obasanjo, Nigerian Execu-thieves, and PDP
by Peter C. Eze --- Hausa name was Sani Abacha and his process to transmute himself into life president, there were many Nigerian execu-thieves who were chorusing the process. The choristers were litany which included 5 political parties. The choir masters were the notorious Tony Anenih from the south-south, the confused and boot licking Ojo Maduekwe from the southeast, the violent Adidebu from the southwest, the brukutu (bkt) chauvinistic burr Gemades, the Audu Ogbes and the Gowons, the Jerry Ganas from the north and the list is long and all of them members of AGIP (Any Government In Power).
There were also anti-transmutation of the sariki into life president. Hence the birth of G-18, then G-34 among others which later fused to become PDP. The acronym PDP was defined to Nigerians as People Democratic Party. Hitherto, it was accepted by Nigerians as defined, because it truly reflected and represented Nigerianism. The northern dominated military led by Alhaji Babangida hijacked the party with the money obtained through their rape of the national treasury. With billions of naira they looted at their disposal, manipulation and dealings by the military and Nigerian execu-thieves became a norm. The resultant effect of military dealing and manipulation was the selection of an ex-convict chief Olusegun Obasanjo as president to shelter them from their loots. He was a member of OLN (Operation Loot Nigeria) His selection and his presidency have no bearing whatsoever with redeeming Nigeria. Far from that.
After he was formally sworn in May 29, 1999, he hijacked the PDP, flushed out the founders and pioneers of PDP, sought for and brought all Abacha choristers and their choir masters, corrupted and financially empowered them. He must have loved and enjoyed their political songs while he was in the gulag.
On assumption of office, he encountered one major problem when his choristers reminded him of the meaning of democracy and the virtue of democratic governance--the power of National Assembly, checks and balances. Manipulation and dealings began. Nigerian factor was put in motion. G-M-G(Ghana Must Go) bags were readily available. Evan Ewerem was appointed senate president by Obasanjo in place of the senators electing the late Okadigbo as their senate president. A house without solid foundation never withstand multiple bricks, so Ewerem could not withstand the senate president’s operational virtues, so he capitulated.
Obasanjo had been in this game before. He knows Nigerian execu-thieves inside-out. He knows how gullible they are. He knows how to deploy the Nigerian naira. He knows the language of naira in Nigeria. And the ‘nairas’ were available for him. On the eventual election of the late Okadigbo as senate president, the Nigerian senate showed some flashes of checks and balances and in many occasions demonstrated senatorial independent.
To the chagrin of president Obasanjo, Okadigbo must be removed dead or alive. What would it take? G-M-G. He deployed them to the sin-ators with an arrow head his deputy the late senator Haruna led by that noisy and flimsy sin-ator called Idris Kuta. With millions of naira in the hands of the sin-ators, Okadigbo was removed and the senatorial independent was also abolished on the altar of corruption. Having successfully removed all obstacles on his way to dictatorship, Obasanjo took over People Democratic Party and rechristened it PDP- Poverty, Deceit & Power, changed its constitution, relegated Nigeria’s constitution to waste basket. Having successfully thrown out the foundation members, he brought into his PDP all manners of people of dishonorable credentials and characters, people who do not care of honor and integrity, people who would mortgage their conscience, integrity, wives and children to get what they want- money, even though they would loose what they need. When he discovered that there was still skeleton of opposition to his despotism in his PDP, he came up with re-registration to finally remove real Nigerians and re-peopled it with fraudulent criminals and corrupt choristers.
Chief among his third term choir masters besides Alhaji Ibrahim Mantu, is the current chairman of his PDP Ahmadu Ali. Ali would say and do anything to see Obasanjo stay in power perpetually as long as he can be chairman of his PDP, and use that office to appoint his wife, son and relatives to federal boards fraudulently and escape the sniffing nose of Alhaji Ribadu and his EFCC team A probe into their bank accounts before and after they were inducted in the PDP hall of shame would reveal why their call for Obasanjo's third term is imminent. These discredited execu-thieves have devised several methods to either concretize their plan for the third term or provide Obasanjo with plausible deniability should the opposition overwhelmed them. Among their efforts is the recent article that the originators of the third term are former heads of state except unnamed one, who were overwhelmed by Obasanjo's success What a fallacy! What is the definition of Obasanjo's success? Is that;
1. The establishment of EFCC and the plantation of Alhaji Ribadu as chairman, whose selective activities are centered on Obasanjo's political opponents and low level public servants. In the cases where a member of his political choristers are involved by accident, a deal would be struck. Mr. Nwude 419ned a Brazilian to tune of about $230 million and was imprisoned for 25 years. Tafa Balogun was entrusted with the Nigerian police force, and by extension, Nigeria’s internal security, he used his position to defraud Nigeria and Nigerians over 17 billion naira, all he got was 24 weeks in jail, but he got to keep his loots. His cousin Dr. Christopher Makanjuola embezzled over 400 million naira as permanent secretary ministry of defense, why was he not subjected to EFCC interrogation? Look at the rot and corruption in the ministry of petroleum under him, with every day discovery of financial scandal in billions of naira. Where is EFCC? ICPC? and all that?
The only credit to EFCC is that the Nigerian state governors are now staying at home to hide their loots instead of going to Britain and USA the countries who have the temerity, courage, morality and effrontery to have them arrested.
2.The 300 billion naira made available to a discredited ex-police officer Tony Anenih to build and repair Nigeria's obsolete roads which was never be. Where was EFCC?
3.The production and sale of 2.5 million barrel of oil daily whose financial return is visible only in the corruption chambers of national assembly, the police and military hierarchy, the hierarchy in other national security outfits, his Otta farm, the financial empowerment of criminals and mules in every Nigerian tribes, societies, cultural groups and affiliations.
4. His denigration of Nigeria's tertiary institutions whose academic contents and institutional management have been rendered senile.
5. His abrogation and corruption of Nigeria's democratic and political space through bribery.
6. The rushing of the only two survivors from the sosoliso air disaster of December 10, 2005 to South African hospital from a nation where there are too many chiefs ,but no Indians.
7. Success in an uninterrupted electricity in Abuja and Lagos the two cities known only to be Nigeria?
8. Success in the availability of water in Nigeria including 'international' airports of which the excess the fire fighters could not use to rescue the burning children in the sosoliso crash?
9. His debasement of Nigerians and lack of democratic dividends which have reduced Nigerians' life span to 43years?
10. His polarization of Nigerians through his mules, intoxication and arrogant of power?
Please can someone tell me Obasanjo's enviable success that will make Nigerians allow him for another terms into their political arena. I am sure if years are like clock, Nigerians would fast forward their hands to Y2K7. The flaw in Obasanjo’s political behavior began with the constitution drawn for Nigerians by the then northern military with the northern hegemony in their mind, and further edited by Abdul Salami Abubakar with additions and subtractions, concentrating Nigeria’s oil money and power in the hands of one man who uses them the way he knows how. No matter what reforms Dr. Iweala, Dr. Ezekwesili, Dr. Akunyiri, Prof. Soludo and co. would institute in Nigeria, they will never materialize as long as Nigeria has Obasanjo as president, corruption remains the level it is in Nigeria, and she still maintain her position in the global corruption ladder, and still have people like Ibrahim Mantu, Idris Kuta, Arthur Nzeribe and Ifeanyi Ararume in her senate, and Dr. Maurice Iwu as the INEC chairman and Andy Uba as his mule from igboland, plagurized Borishade, am sorry, ‘prof’ Borishade, thrice rejected by the Nigerian sin-ators, in his cabinet regardless of which ministry, be it “power and steal” the so-called reform will amount to nothing more than a paper trail. In spite of the efforts of his economic team, which are parallel with his political behavior, one can see why this reform has not yielded any democratic fruit.

Obasanjo and Third Termism
by Peter C. Eze --- There is a popular saying that evil that men do lives after them.He who lives by the sword dies by the sword. For a brief historical analysis, Obasanjo replaced Col. Benjamin Adekunle at the tail end of the Nigerian/Biafran civil war and became lucky that the war ended in his sectorial command.
Though not through his military bravado, but he thinks otherwise. He has been bathing in the dream that he defeated the Igbos. Already, the yoruba tribe had been accepted as a junior partner in the administration of Nigeria due to the part they played in consolidation of Nigerian leadership to the northern oligarchy. The northern military establishment brought Obasanjo and made him representative of the yoruba nation in the share of the spoil of the war effort. Hence his second- in command position to Murtala Mohammed after the change of baton with Yakubu Gowon.
When Mohammed was paid back on his attrocious behavior and his devilish activities in Asaba during that genocidal war agaist Ndigbo, on February 13, 1976, again the northern military establishment felt that they should make him (Obasanjo) the titular head of state ( to keep the yorubas as the junior partner) who can only act when the defacto military leader Yar' dua, ordered him to do so. Then on October 1, 1979, an opportunity came for him to escape being murdered by the untrained, uneducated and corruption infested northern military, he quickly handed over to Shehu Shagari. He had no choice or else he would have been finished. As a trade off, he was allowed to take home his own share of the loot from UPE contract of 1976, the contract from the laying of oil pipes from Port harcourt and Warri to the northern Nigeria including the establishment of oil refinery in Kaduna, to operate his farm at Otta. As is usual to the corrupt leaders of Nigeria, he stayed on the back ground and pretended as if he had Nigeria's interest at heart by his utterances. It is factual that Nigerian leaders when out of power pretended through their utterances to be interested in the Nigerian unity, while when in power resorted to policies and programes to disunite and dismember Nigeria.See Babangida and IOC and Buhari and his war against Igbos (his W.A. I )
In 1995, the then Nigerian despot, Sani Abacha roped him and nailed him in the gulag somewhere in Yola.He survived it, but has not forgotten it. In 1998, Babangida and the then northern military establishment felt that Obasanjo who had been their errand boy from 1969 through 1979 and moreover the yoruba as their junior partner, he would be made president to hold forth for them (northerns) to calm down the frail Nigerians nervers emanated from the annulment of the late Abiola's presidential victory of June 12, 1993. On May 29, 1999
Sani Abacha resurrected from dead and another emperor and despot was created in Nigeria's leadership.
With the help of the United States and Britain, the so called Nigerian army was weeded of the northern islamic coupists and the sun was set in northern Nigeria's leadership monopoly . The demolition of the northern Nigeria military monopolistic tendencies on military, economic and political sphere of Nigeria had begun.
As the northern Nigeria's imperial coats were being dismantled from the corruption hangers at Aso Rock and beyound, the yorubas were putting theirs back on the thesame hangers of military, security, economic and political land scape of Nigeria. Hence the yorubanization of Nigeria has begun.
Obasanjo has now tasted the real power. As the coast is very clear for him by the exit of the islamic dominated military coupists, he now assumes God and plays God in Nigeria. He is now more catholic than the Pope.
He now determines who lives and who dies in Nigeria. With the collaboration of the Nigerian military based on his bribery strategy, his executive corruption and intimidation of members of the Nigerian National Assembly, his flooding of his tribes men and women in the security department of the Nigerian nation, his executive support and sheltering of criminal and murderous governors, his and his kin folks control of the Nigeria's oil wealth, his divide and rule tactics of the various Nigeria's tribes, his establishment of Chris Uba and co to rubbish on Ndigbo, his demolition and control of the party formed while he was in Abacha gulag, the death of prominent Nigerians just for the control of power, the use of EFCC to hound his prominent political opponents or any prominent Nigerian who criticized his despotism, his marginalization of real Nigerians and his empowerment of Nigeria's crooks and criminals, his use of Nigeria's police, SSS, Nigerian army to abuse and
maim Nigerian citizens, his use of executive power to corrupt Nigerian democracy, his obssesion for corruption, intimidation, abuse, crudity, irascibility, his financial and political empowerment of the unmerited Nigerian's political and economic criminals that surround him as advisers and political contractors, those who tend to cry more than the bereaves, those who are the drummers of his third termism are all the reasons for his continuation beyond 2007. It is true that there are reforms going on now, but why were the reforms not carried out from May 29, 1999 through may 28, 2003? Among his retinue of Ministers, advisers and board appointees, the only visible and practical performers are, Dr. Ngozi Okonji Iweala, Dr. Dora Akunyiri, Prof. Charles Soludo, Dr. Obeageli Ezekwesili, Mr. Ernest Ndukwu of the NCC and the mobile phone fame, Mallam El Rufai is just in Abuja fighting Ndigbo and their hard earned properties.
Obasanjo has committed too much attrocities against Nigeria and Nigerians and will be scared his pant off living in Nigeria without power. His cronies are equally scared of being hounded or getting a pay back from their corruption, moral and political attrocities against Nigeria and Nigerians from another leader.. Does one wonder why in a country that sells 2.5 million barrel of oil daily @ consistent average of $50 a barrel, has no functional electricity, no tarred roads, no running water, no functional or standard tertiary institutions, no good medical facilities for common headache, no functional airline, a country where members of the military and police are daily looting the banks, robbing and killing innocent citizens, a nation where a prominent minister and political leaders would be murdered in cold blood, the accused would be appointed senator or political adviser to the president, and every politician in Nigeria drives Suv (sport utility vehicle) build sky scrapers, every governor in Nigeria has houses in USA, Britain and other western countries. Every president, governors, ministers and state commissioners, special advisers, advisers, members of the national and state assembly, politicians military and police in Nigeria have accounts in foreign banks worth billions of dollars. Obasanjo is so corrupt that he dwarfed Abacha, Babangida, Atiku and Abdul Salami Abubakar.
He is afraid of retributive justice, otherwise at 70, and 11 years in the nations leadership chair, what else does he need when even in those 11 years he could offer nothing to Nigeria and Nigerians.Nigerians should see his third term ambition not in the sense of Nigeria's political interest, but purely for personal security concern. The third term or continuity would offer him and his cronies a reprieve from the national punishment for their attrocities and or perhaps send him to his grave rather than live to withness his retribution from another president. He has effectively paid Abacha back in his own coins, and Nigerians well known for revenge politics, he will equally get his own pay back by who ever succeeds him. It doesn't matter whether his successor is his son or daughter, he certainly will be paid according to his sin which is grave.

Does Obasanjo Really Mean Well for Nigeria or is he just an Obtrusion?
by Peter Eze --- If few Nigerian men and women less than 20 in number or simply put it this way, members of Nigerian Contract Inflation Inc, NCI for short, could put together more than 4 billion naira in less than 4 hours for Obasanjo’s private shrine, which civilized society will ever take Obasanjo seriously with cap in hands, kneels on ground begging for debt forgiveness?
Some few months back, this man went on the air asking Nigerians whether it was morally right for a sitting governor to establish an airline while in office. The same man not too long ago went to the tube, accused, tried, prosecuted and convicted professor Fabian Osuji and the entire National Assembly over 55 million naira. When the nation began to point out his hypocrisies and selective war on corruption, he quickly asked his black mail bureaucracy EFCC or ICPC to arrest Alhaji Mustapha Balogun, that stinking corruption infested former IG who could have been better come to the world as corruption rather than as human being. If this so called former IG could spent only 18 months and associated with more than 12 billion naira in corruption, I wonder what time he had to police the nation. Even after Balogun’s arrest and arraignment, the same Obasanjo caused his release. Mrs Ojomo the erstwhile minister of housing was involved in high profile corruption in the gift of the federal government houses in highbrow Lagos, she was simply fired, because Obasanjo was very much aware of the give away even though he pretended otherwise. Nigerians are wiser than that. Besides, she is a Yoruba woman. Every one expected him to cause the re-arrest of Dr. Julius Makanjuola another Yoruba.
Every Nigerian expected him to shed him self of “Yoru-oil-nization” of Nigeria’s oil concern and “Defamily-ization” of Nigeria’s industrial and corporate properties through NCP. The barrage of accusation against him on the employment of his children and the “Gbenga-nization” of many Nigeria’s industries through BPE, if Obasanjo does see it as corruption, then he is a fraudulent president. If Obasanjo does not see his establishment of a private university while a sitting president as corruption, if he does not see the use of Nigerian government resources to enlarge and reconstitute an almost bankrupt farm to a situation it now rakes in more than 30 million naira a month as corruption, if he does not see his persistent attempt in total extrusion of the most viable race in a black world (Ndigbo) as criminal and corruption, if he does not see the employment of Nigerian government machinery to exhort billions of naira from federal government contractors fronting for him and his family as corruption, if he refuses to make public his asset declaration to the code of conduct bureau while causing same to investigate and prosecute Orji Uzo Kalu, section 308 of the Nigerian constitution notwithstanding, using Turaki of Jigiwa and Ladoje of Oyo States as decoy just as he did in Slok airline issue when his target was Orji Kalu, but included one or two northern owned airliners just to deceive himself thinking he was deceiving Nigerians, if he does not know he is abusing and desecrating the Nigerian constitution on daily basis, if he does not know he is a lawless president who has no regard for the nation’s highest court’s –(the Supreme Court) adjudication, a president who has no regard for an Act of the National Assembly, a president who has no regard to the meaning of his personal signature or a presidential signature, a president who is morally and spiritually challenged and want to emulate the profile (only) of an American president or be like an American president only in profile which he is not, and cannot and would not be, not even in his dream, a president who lies to his country men and women and believes his lies to be true even before he makes lies public is nothing but an obtrusion.
One reality is that Obasanjo is very angry for his imprisonment and still being malicious against Nigerians. This man will put Nigeria in a situation where the country will be in turmoil after his departure from Aso Rock. By his malicious and divisive administration of Nigeria, he has already created too much confusion in the country. Never in the history of Nigeria has the north and south been more pronounced in the negative than this Obasanjo’s tenure. If he is not prodding and inciting the Ijaws, the Calabaries, the Ibibios or the Ogojas against Ndigbo by blowing the civil war trumpet, he is inciting Jukuns against the Tiv’s or the Fulanis against the Lantangs. There has been more negative gap between the Muslims and Christians in Nigeria under Obasanjo than any other time in Nigeria’s checkered history. The nation’s political field contains more land mines than the war field. Nigeria is more defined as a killing field than She is known as a nation. Corruption is more endemic in Nigeria under Obasanjo. Injustice has since replaced equity and fair play in Nigeria under Obasanjo. Igboland has become Obasanjo’s political laboratory with Ndigbo as beaker and tubes where he experiments social, political and economic injustice before it becomes national policy.
It is obvious that Obasanjo will be the last man to relinquish power to any other Nigerian because he does not want to live to witness what will be his retribution, given the mess he has and is going to leave Nigeria with. Obasanjo has really hut Nigeria and Nigerians in this process. The issue of his impeachment will never be taken seriously by any sane Nigerian, given the type of Nigerians that constitute the National Assembly. Any attempt to bruise him politically will always elicit the tribal coronation.
With the nation’s oil dollars at his disposal, and with the Yorubas always evoking tribalism whenever Obasanjo’s constitutional conflagrations come up, Nigerian citizens will always be treated with political fiction. However, the real impeachment of Obasanjo comes on how he is being perceived by the majority of Nigerians. Obasanjo has already been impeached by the Nigerian court of public opinion, not the National Assembly Nigeria does not have. Obasanjo’s administration of Nigeria is knotted in black box and when untied after his inglorious exit, it will explode like a bomb whose effect will spell a disaster for Nigeria. Obasanjo will choose to die in the office than to face the international court of justice for numerous crimes against Nigeria and Nigerians. The Odi military massacre, the Zaki-Ibiam military pogrom, the persistent emasculation and persecution of members of harmless MASSOB, the high profile political assassinations, and the economic and social injustice being meted to Ndigbo. The family of those politically fallen heroes will never let Obasanjo off the hook. When he exists from Aso Rock his use and abuse of the nation’s security forces will cease. He will be made to answer for his emasculation of Nigerian people and his ravages of executive despotism.

Obasanjo, the Greatest Hypocrite, and Deceptive President
by Chidi Peter Eze ------ “I have been under pressure to go for the (fourth) third term”. ----------- President Olusegun Obasanjo.
The recent revelation by Obasanjo in Germany that he is or has been under pressure to stay on power until he dies gives truth to the avalanche of insinuations that he has a hidden agenda.
Being a talkative and inculpatory, he is very primitive to polished expressions and lacks the modern initiative to communication, both attributable to his irascibility and his being socially and intellectually challenged. Everyday it is becoming clearer on his moves to entrench himself in power perpectually. First, he set up a committee and appointed that corrupt and intellectually challenged individual called Ibrahim Mantu to head the committee to review the constitution, a cover for the fourth term. What has come out of that constitutional review committee? When Nigeria can parade constitutional lawyers of international repute. Mantu, I believe, did not possess a basic diploma of any high school home and abroad, but possesses qualification to do anything and everything to leak Obasanjo’s ass. Even if it means giving up his State as litmus test to exhibit imperialistic power in the name of S.O.E,(state of emergency) he was a willing partner as long as he would be allowed to keep his loots through bribery and corruption and as long as the EFCC or ICPC if it still exists, will never visits him. Knowing that it may be difficult for him to sell such hypocrisy to Nigerians, he toyed with the idea of setting up another committee to be headed by Borishade, his first term education minister. It leaked out and he abandoned the idea, instead sent him to the power ministry to perform the fit he did in education that culminated in Yorubas having more universities than the 19 northern States and southeast States put together. With Mr. Borishade at the power ministry, the Yoruba land is witnessing explosion of power stations. Three power stations to be built in southwest. A pipeline from south-south through southeast to Ogun State for its refinery of oil and gas. Ogunlewe is at works ministry making sure the Yorubas have the best roads. Olujimin is at justice ministry to give legal protection to Obasanjo’s Yoruba economic and political empire by interpreting the law the way Obasanjo wants it. Naijeyu is there at general accounting to make sure the financial numbers coming to Yoruba land is well maintained. Joseph Ajiboye is at the auditor-general post to make sure that no one audits the oil money flowing into Yoruba land. Kukpolokun is at Nigeria’s oil wells making sure the oil money is flowing to the Yoruba land.
Peter Okebukola is at the NUC flooding the Yoruba land with mediocre universities and projecting the Yoruba universities as the best in the world even though none of the Yoruba universities is recognized outside the federal republic of Nigeria. Mr. Sunday Ehindero has now taken over from that notorious thief called Mustapha Balogun, to ensure that the use of that notorious organization called Nigerian Police to witch haunt, intimidate and harass people who disagree with Obasanjo is maintained.Obasanjo once raised the issue of immorality when he said, “Is it morally right for a sitting governor to establish airline?” “Is it morally right for a sitting governor to establish radio station and TV house?” But it is morally right for a sitting president to employ the resources of the government to improve his farm in Otta to fetch him 30 million naira every month. It is morally right for a sitting president to establish a university at Badagary. What a hypocrite! Now that the Yorubas have maintained economic, legal and security control of the country, the igbo men and women have the job of cleansing Obasanjo’s mess and that of those before him. To give further impression of federal republic hypocrisy and fallacy, he has to appoint governor Markfi of Kaduna from the north to head another committee to work out plans for his “Idi-aminization” of Nigeria’s presidency, hence the birth of the so-called National Political Reform Conference. NPRC for shot, the delegates who are mainly people that will not oppose Obasanjo’s continuation of monopoly of power in Nigeria. Other wise why was Ojukwu, the initiator of the national conference dropped from the delegates? Ojukwu would oppose any attempt to impose Obasanjo on Nigerians again as well as members of “Operation Loot Nigeria” the deranged and tired military looters represented by Ibrahim Babangida. Ojukwu is an embodiment of true Nigerianism as exemplified by his performance at Aburi, Ghana, 38 years ago.Why did he oppose the inclusion of Navy Cmdr. Ebitu Ukiwe from the delegates. After all, they are Igbo representatives and not Yoruba representatives. They are to represent igbo interests not that of the Yorubas. Ojukwu’s exclusion from the delegates demonstrates Obasanjo’s hypocrisy. Obasanjo is always scared of sound and strong intellectually minded igboman. He should be, given his intellectual and social deficiencies. Ojukwu’s deliberate exclusion from the delegates by Obasanjo is a further testimony to his hidden agenda.
If Mrs. Ngozi Iwuala, Oby Ezekwesili, Charles Soludo, Dora Akwunyiri, Ernest Ndukwe, and the young man at the culture ministry from Ebonyi State decide to withdraw from Obasanjo administration today, Obasanjo and Nigeria will collapse like a pack of cards. His so-called anti corruption crusade is one of his greatest hypocrisy. Look at people whom he brought into PDP. Tony Aneneih, that corruption infested individual who was disgraced from the police for corruption, and who is yet to account for the 300 billion naira given to him to fix Nigerian roads. Bode George, another corrupt retired and tired Naval officer. Ahmadu Ali, a tired military colonel and one of the most corrupt and beast minded Nigerian. Venatius Ikem, a lawyer whose legal practice is PDP fraud and corruption. Chris Uba, a notorious 419ner who should be cooling himself at Kirikiri Prison along with Fred Ajudua and co. Obasanjo is the president who openly admitted being accessory to fraud and corruption. Hear him, “I invited Chris Uba and Chris Ngige to my house where Uba in my presence looked at Ngige in the face and said, you know you did not win the election and you did not know how we did it”. All a president whose presidential words are, anti corruption crusade could do in light of admittance of fraud and corruption was only to tell them to leave his house. What a monumental hypocrisy. For almost six years, with oil selling for consistent average of more than $40 a barrel and a nation ranking 5th in world oil production, yet no good roads, no electricity, no good and quality water supply, her tertiary institutions are mere after school program, no good hospitals. Those Nigerians who looted the country dry would prefer to die at European hospitals than die in Nigeria, so they can die close to their loots stashed in Europe. Nigeria under Obasanjo has been ranking the most corrupt country in Africa. 1st, 2nd,and 3rd most in the world, the most human rights abuser in Africa, yet this man is junketing the world asking for debt forgiveness on the money he and his military colleagues shared. Other wise what did have to show Nigerians for a loan of such magnitude? The same man fighting war on corruption has been bribing his way to inflict un constitutionalism on Nigerians and continued to turn deaf ears on corruption, except fighting a dead man Sani Abacha, while dinning and winning with those who instituted corruption in Nigeria. What happened to his cousin Dr. Julius Makanjuola, known to have embezzeled more than 420 million naira as permanent secretary ministry of defense? Does it mean that all the Babangida celebrated wealth and his 57 room house at hill top Minna, the aborted establishment of Heritage university were from his legitimate salary as a military general? What happened to late Dr. Pius Okigbo report on the 1991 oil windfall? Was the late Sani Abacha the only member of OLN (operation loot the nation)?
I find it difficult to make meaning out of Obasanjo’s statement once, at Akwa Ibom State during his visit to that State not too long. That is, that he saw no sense in denying the late General Philip Effiong political access, while Ojukwu was allowed political access. Rubbish. I don’t know how he could have forgotten that he Obasanjo is an ex-convict who should not have been allowed into Nigeria’s political arena let alone giving him the presidency if it hadn’t been the military conspiracy to deny Ekwueme the presidency through PDP. He was appointed president by the then northern military looters, who felt he was qualified as their stooge as exemplified by his first outing in 1976-79. He got the president he now uses with all federal government machinery to do for the Yorubas what the former northern cabals did for the north. Yorubanization of Nigeria began in 1999 just as the northernization of Nigeria began in 1966 and ended in 1999. Today, Yoruba people control every strategic Organs of Nigeria’s institutions and economy. Be it oil, security, works, justice, police and communications. Yoruba land is being flooded with infrastructures, three power stations in southwest, international cargo airport in Abeokuta, 20 private universities for Yorubas alone approved within three years. Oil and gas refinery in Ogun State. NNPC M/D, attorney-general of the federation, accountant-general of the federation, auditor-general of the federation, police IG, SSS Director, DMI Director, PPRA chairman, DPR Director, PPRA executive secretary all Yorubas.
That’s exactly the way of the northern cabals. It used to be Alhaji this Alhaji that, whether he knew how to sign his name or not. At least these Yorubas are intellectually sound. Go to chief justice, you are talking to a Hausa man. Petrol minister, Alhaji Hausa, controller-general of immigration, Alhaji Kano, Director-general of Custom, Alhaji Sokoto, Minister of finance, Alhaji Katsina, All strategic western embassies, Alhaji A. Alhajis.Chief of Army staff, general Setima Alhaji , chief of defense staff, general Alhaji Abuja. Airforce, Vice Marshal Mig. Alhaji, Navy, Admiral NNS Alhaji. SSS Director, Alhaji Maiduguri, Military intelligence, general Hadeja. President of federal court of appeal, Alhaji justice Kaduna. Nigeria defense industry corporation, Kaduna. Nigeria military school, Zaria. Nigerian defense academy, Kaduna. Nigerian civil aviation school, Zaria. School of senior military commandant, Jaji Kaduna. Institute of policy and strategic studies, Kuru, Jos. Peugeot Automobile Plant, Kaduna. Oil refinery, Kaduna. 1st Division Nigerian Army, Kaduna. 3rd Division Nigerian Army, Jos. Corps of Artillery, Minna. Kano, Kaduna, Ilorin, Maiduguri, Sokoto, Jos, Makurdi, Yola all have international airports, whether planes land there or not. They are all international airports for lizards and broken windows. As long as the north controlled oil money, it must flow in the north, just as it is now flowing in the Yoruba land. I don’t see any difference between Gowon, Buhari, Babangida, Abacha, Abdulsalami Abubakar and Olusegun Obasanjo. They are all hypocrites and are all in the league of Operation Loot Nigeria. They pretend to be patriotic Nigerians outside the power, but Military looters and human right abusers inside the power. Outside power, they talk about Nigeria’s unity, but inside power they work tirelessly for her disunity. Inside power they institute and nurture all kinds of system that will permanently dismember Nigeria. Other wise where was the unity of Nigeria when all the oil money coming to Nigeria was used to establish infrastructures in the north and southwest, when the greatest and hardest workers in Nigeria to develop that wealth are igbos and people of the south south? Where is the unity of Nigeria when Babangida single handedly forced Nigeria into IOC,( Islamic Organization Conference). Where is the unity of Nigeria when the northern military looters were building Mosque at Aso Rock without any church at Aso Rock?
They criticize each other when the critic is out of power. Can these looters and hypocrites mention any federal infrastructure in the southeast? Yet people like Chimaroke Nnamani sees Obasanjo as the best thing that happens to ndigbo. Although Nnamani is just a lone ranger in igbo land, so he has to leak Obasajo’s fat ass for protection for his atrocious leadership in Enugu State and beyond. Since he sees Obasanjo different from the way all true igbos see him, how many roads in the southeast has the federal government built or fixed? Why is Obasanjo playing 419 with Enugu airport and Niger Bridge? Why was the design of the Niger Bridge cancelled after the design? Why will it take the governor the ability to get international airliner that will be capable of flying and landing in Enugu airport five days a week for Obassanjo to internationalize it? What happened to the dry port, international airport, building of another Bridge across the Niger and two other infrastructures Obasanjo promised the southeast prior to his 2003 electoral façade popularly known in national parlance as 419 of 2003? Chief Audu Ogbe was once Obasanjo’s point guard. Before Ogbe was Mr. Bernabas Gemade. They all lived like kings and ended up like trash under Olusegun Obasanjo. Ahmadu Ali will no doubt go the way of the two gentle men above. They were all conscripted to do Obasanjo’s dirty job and enforce his hypocrisies. The expulsion of Ngige from PDP was just one of his defense mechanism for his political immorality. He knows he is a hypocrite. Will he also expel Jubril Aminu, Ibrahim Mantu, Adolphus Wabara, that one will be easy for him to expel since he answers igbo name, and all those who lost in his 419 of 2003 now parading as Senators and House of representatives otherwise V.I.P? (vagabonds in power) in the words of the late Fela Anikpolokun. The only rope Obasanjo is hanging on is his immoral control of the nations security forces. He has so perfected the use of the military and security apparatus to intimidate, abuse, harass and demean Nigerians. These members of the military and security outfits are the willing tools as long as they enjoy the perks of the office and the corruption that goes with it. And the absolute control of these security forces or outfits by the Yorubas has absolutely secured the dictatorship and hypocrisy for him. Obasanjo was quoted to have said that no one in Nigeria is qualified to take over from him.
The truth is that he has injured a lot of Nigerians such that he will prefer to die in the office rather than live to witness another retribution from Nigerians he has injured. Nigeria known for her revenge politics, he will prefer that the Bridge collapse, after he has crossed the Bridge. This man who pretends to have unity of Nigeria in his heart is nothing but a hypocrite and a deceiver. He will prefer that Nigeria dismember after his death as long as he protected the Yorubas, furnished them with all the resources and build economic empire for them. Obasanjo’s mission is not development of Nigeria, far from that. Obasanjo’s presidential mission is to do as much collateral damage to Ndigbo and provide the Yorubas Nigeria and her wealth.
Babangida and members of his OLN have given Nigerians a check. A check returned to Nigerians marked “insufficient fund”, in the words of that great African American, the late Dr. Martin Luther King jr. No condition is permanent. 1966 through 1999 were the years of Alhajis. 1999 through present are the years of Oduduas. Who knows whose years will it be from 2007? For now Nigerians other than the Yorubas have gotten a rotten product from their political purchase. They are always issued a wrong product whenever they ordered a political bargain.
