Creepy creepy walks the cobra
When the day looks warm and sober
The house birds lives 'side the ban
And the cobra knows this bound
The nursing hens cries aroused
As their eggs are counted and lost
Our toothed trap fails to trap
What causes a pause in our nap
In me builds the gut to revenge
Before this guest gets engaged
The words of tradition bores my mind
"Dare this and be mourned!"
Fathers, are you wise on this?
That we should with the abyss?
The cobra is cunning and wise
Knowing to aim and rise.

( The above poem is dedicated to the people of Isu-njaba in Imo state, whose tradition permits the co-inhabition of humans with certain snakes.) Its dangerous though. I saw one of the giant snakes ones and it was like..... "god! what the hell is that?"
