Several moons we've tarried
For this rain that fell today;
At last, at last,
And vast and vast.

"Amadioha", here we come,
With fowls and wine from palm,
We humbly before thee come,
That our sins past atone.

The witchdoctor could be right,
That the gods were on wrought;
After the rituals of apeasement,
Came rain flooding our basement.

We welcome thee, rain,
Be kind to our land,
May our toils never be vain,
And our ponies heavy ladened.

"Ise-e".

Kacy this is happening right now as I type
for it is raining & my basement is flooded
for i need to direct the rain away from my house
for I am downstairs where the computer is feeling like all hands on deck
