Folks:

Let's see your take on how you've been listening to music; your choice and why. In my own case I like all varieties especially the "New New Super Heavy Funk." I'm quite sure y'all know who invented that stuff, I mean the "New New Super Heavy Funk."

There are four questions in this poll and you have two of four choices to make. While you vote, discuss and name your favorite artist, and tell us why.

The Questions:

( ) Today's music and the last ten years+ (From 1990 to present)

( ) Music from yesteryears (60's through the 80's)

( ) Today's and Yesteryears music just as much

( ) I don't give a damn.

Guys:

It's been said that there is no business like showbiz. Yes I agree since it keeps popping up in many ways. Yep, there is "New New Super Heavy Funk" invented by none other than the "Soul Brother Number One," "Godfather of Soul" James Brown who long time ago was crowned the Minister of "New New Super Heavy Funk" for his unique role in da funk of da years before Uncle Jam.

Stop tripping and go listen to Outkast's "Speakerboxx/The Love Below" CD. Brilliant stuff and another Hendrix-Brown-D'arby "comes alive."

Folks,

Do you know a new kinda funk has been invented? Yep! This time around, Woodstock named after a small village South-South West of Albany, New York, where in 1969 Jimi Hendrix thrilled the pot-smoking youths in a never before seen rock music festival.

Joined together is Sly Family Stone psychedic soul-funk years of the seventies and the funkadelic era of General George Clinton who founded Uncle Jams Army. It has no name, just funk by the masters.

Now you know!
