I'm gonna be starting this series to review best performances of notable African artists from Ska to Afrobeat and back in the days of Fela, Hugh Maskela, Ofo, Ozo, Ofege, Makeba and the rest.

Stay tuned!

TB,

Forget that and review the HIP HOP history, timeline from the great Grandfatherof it all Afrika Bambaataa to Kurtis Blow through Run of Run DMC, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Too Short, Doug E. Fresh, Kool Moe Dee, Special K, my girls Salt 'n' Pepa , Houston, Texas natives "The Geto Boys", Boogie Down Productions', Public Enemy, N.W.A., my main man Big Daddy Kane, Tribe Called Quest, 2Pac, Mobb Deep, our naija brother NAS, Notorious B.I.G and so on and so on. Thats what we wnat to read about TB not about some African "musicians.

Ednut my man,

Why do you wanna take me to review a saturated Hip-Hop? I'm really getting bored with every new artist doing the same thing over and over again. And, besides, it's all about making beats which lacks originality.

Of course, I would like to review Kurtis Blow, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Public Enemy, 2Pac the great, for sure, SugarHill Gang, Slick Rick, Big Daddy Kane and the rest original rappers of 70s/80s era.

But I think going back to our roots will be more fun. What do you think?
