I read this report a few weeks ago.

http://news.biafranigeriaworld.com/archive/2003/jun/04/400.html

I was very concerned about our kids in Diaspora. Since that report, the body of Obinna Okoro, a 17-year old Igbo boy, was discovered in the Delaware River.

The news that the permision slip he used was forged raised a concern I have about many of our kids in Diaspora. These kids forge drivers licenses to get into clubs, they forge anything they need to forge to get whatever they want. What can be done to reduce the dangers to our kids abroad?

This is truly sad. My sincere condolence to the family of the young lad. It is a huge tragedy to lose a family member and moreso when you live to bury a teenage son full of promises.

Ozoemena!

My prayers are with the Okoro family. I can't begin to imagine what it must be like for the parents.

Buckup the Okoros. It is very sad indeed to loose such a young Igbo son. God be with you and your family especially at this trying time.

May the Lord be with the Okoro family at this time of a great lose.

Knowing that it is a especially difficult for parents have to bury their chldren, one can't imagine what the Okoros are going through but only God knows why the youngman was called home.
