The All BiafraNigeria Peoples Party (ABNPP) yesterday described the reported meeting between President Olusegun Obasanjo and Abuja Appeal Court judges, as a clear attempt to thwart justice in the ongoing petition filed by the party over the April presidential elections. "To the ANPP, irrespective of the subject matter of their discussion, we find the meeting at this time most inauspicious, ominous, very unfortunate and a blatant attempt to pervert the course of justice from all perspectives," declared the party�s national publicity Secretary, Comrade Nnamdi Olebara. The ANPP said in a statement it issued yesterday that the explanation given by presidential spokesperson, Mrs. Remi Oyo, was lacking in detail and challenged her to release the contents of the tape of that meeting to the public to buttress her defence. While describing the development as sad for the present democratic dispensation, the ANPP said such meeting contravened the constitution "which provides for separation of powers for sustainable democracy to endure.
