Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Alhaji Ghali Umar Na'Abba and other principal officers of his regime are to be given one-week ultimatum to return about 90 high-grade vehicles they took away, as they are not part of severance benefits for the legislators, a Repe panel has noted. Specifically, Na'Abba, will be asked to return 31 vehicles including a Lexus Jeep (bullet proof) and one BMW Jeep still in his possession. Besides, of the N229,715,309.90 worth of liabilities the Na'Abba administration left in the House only N35,500,000 can be paid whenever capital vote is released. But then only 15 companies will benefit from that. These are part of the highpoints of the Report of the Transition Committee (Special Ad-hoc Committee) the incumbent Speaker, Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari set up on June 11, to examine the hand-over notes from his predecessor in office.
