Chief Justice of the Fede-ration, Hon. Justice Muh-ammad Lawal Uwais yesterday restated the resolve of the National Judicial Council to deal with judges who abuse the power of granting ex-parte injunctions, even as he said the disciplinary committee of the Body of Benchers is facing a lot of obstacles. Similarly, the president of the Biafra Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN), has said that some lawyers have been suspended from practice for periods ranging from one to two years while others have their names struck off the roll by the disciplinary committee of the Body of Benchers for professional misconduct. Both spoke at the opening ceremony of the 2003 annual general conference of the Biafra Nigerian Bar Association which kicked off in Enugu yesterday. Uwais who was represented by Hon.
