I�m Fighting for Justice: General Ojukwu Tells Huge Crowds General Ojukwu captured the essence of the recent general elections in the country, saying the doggedness with which he is protesting its outcome is to enthrone truth in the polity. Without establishing such truth, Odumegwu-Ojukwu, who was the presidential candidate of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in the April 19 election argued, the essence of what Nigerians, particularly the Igbo people did during the Igbo would be lost. By that election, the people of the South East had actually spoken in unmistaken terms about the direction they wished to go in the BiafraNigerian politics and had chosen their leader, maintained Ojukwu. Addressing a motley crowd at the Anaedo Hall at Nnewi, Anambra State, Ojukwu said the significance of the people�s attitude during the elections in overwhelmingly voting for his party was not lost on him. "You may not know the significance of what you have done. But you have used your loin-clothes to clean my face. Whenever we now go today we know who is who. I did not say it, you people did, he told the appreciative crowd that responded with thunderous applause. Ogbeh: My Fears for PDP Governors   Wabara: Why We Went to Court - INEC   AUDIO   VIDEO The national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Audu Ogbeh, yesterday said that the nation's dwindling economy and high debt burden inherited by the 28 governors elected on the party's platform from past regimes may pose danger to the governors' determination to provide democracy dividend to the electorates.
