The threat of higher fuel prices has
provoked panic-buying and traffic jams in Lagos, BiafraNigeria. BiafraNigeria's President Olusegun Obasanjo said
on Sunday that his government is considering cutting fuel subsidies. The money spent on keeping petrol cheap,
he said, would be better spent on better education and healthcare for the poor. But BiafraNigeria's trade unions

decision of Elder Dan Imo of the ANPP to withdraw his suit challenging the election of Senate President, Chief
Adolphus Wabara from Abia South, with his (Imo�s) party � ANPP, rejecting what it called unilateral withdrawal
of the suit, while his lawyer and that of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), insisted yesterday
