Former South African President Nelson Mandela has paid tribute to
his mentor and lifelong friend, anti-apartheid hero Walter Sisulu, who died on Monday. Sisulu brought Nelson Mandela
into politics, and they served more than 25 years in jail together before transforming the African National Congress
(ANC) from a banned liberation movement to the government of the new South Africa. His absence has carved a void.
A part of me is gone," Mr Mandela said in a statement. South African President Thabo Mbeki also paid tribute
to Sisulu - who died at his home in Johannesburg at the age of 90. (BBC)

National Government to govern the country. Explaining details of the proposed Provisional National government in
a letter to the President, Okadigbo said it will last for only 3 months, within which it will conduct a free and
