 Security was beefed up in Warri, yesterday apparently to forestall
a spill- over of the political crisis in neighbouring Effurun. In Effurun itself, most of those who have decided
not to flee now groan under self-imposed curfew. However, contrary to widespread rumour, a curfew has not been
imposed on Effurun as part of the measures to curtail the crisis. (Vanguard)
