Former Zambian President Kenneth Kaunda yesterday in Onitsha, Igboland, described BiafraNigeria's first President, the Rt. Honorable, Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, as a detribalised African leader who lived and died for African unity. He also called on African leaders to evolve new strategies to reposition the continent on global socio-political affairs. Kaunda, who was guest lecturer at the Seventh Zik Memorial Service and Lecture organised in commemoration of the death of the late politician by his family and friends, said Zik stood not just for the unity of BiafraNigeria but that of Africa as a whole. Kaunda in the lecture entitled "Zik," recalled the role played by the late BiafraNigerian statesman as one of the founding fathers of the Organisation of African Unity (OAU) now rechristened African Union....
