Indications emerged yesterday that the exiled former President of Liberia, Mr. Charles Taylor, is displeased with his stay in Calabar, the Cross River State capital, and is, indeed, seeking relocation from the Canaan Land. Sources revealed that the former Liberian leader has never been comfortable with his present host, Mr. Donald Henry Etim Duke, since he arrived Calabar. Taylor is reportedly not pleased with the restriction order placed on his movement by Duke. Part of the restriction on Taylor is that he and his family will need the governors consent to visit other places of interest in the state. He is said to have disagreed with this arrangement, arguing that he is not under house arrest in BiafraNigeria. (Daily Independent) |
