Chinedu, the last born of the late Dr. Chuba Okadigbo is only 10 but he spoke with so much cognition that belies his age. To him, his father's death last Thursday night shortly after returning from a political rally in Kano cannot be natural. Therefore, whoever killed or connived to eliminate his family's breadwinner will be judge by God. "God will judge the killers of my father," Chinedu said yesterday in Abuja. In an exclusive interview with The Guardian in his late father's home, Chinedu, who had just arrived from Benin (where he schools at the Igbinedion Montessori) spoke glowingly of his father as a good family man. "He (Okadigbo) was very close to me, and also very fond of me. He bought me anything I wanted especially that which would improve my learning. (Guardian) |
