Abuja Varsity Collaborates with AfriHope From Juliana Taiwo in Abuja University of Abuja and AfriHope International Incorporated, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) based in Boston, USA, are exploring areas of cooperation aimed at uplifting the standard of facilities at the Institutions. A team from AfriHope with objective to alleviate problems faced by most developing countries in the areas of medical equipment, medicine, books and technology, on a courtesy visit to the University, disclosed to the Vice Chancellor, Professor Nuhu Yaqub, and the Management of the University, its intention to partner with it. Yaqub in his remark, said the University management was keen to explore the gesture extended by AfriHope, and assured the visiting executives that the University would cooperate fully. He asked the organisation to seek out areas of cooperation and the University's responsibilities, to enable it participate effectively.
