Ogun Secures N300m Loan from Agric Bank From Toba Suleiman in Abeokuta. Ogun State government said it has secured N300 million loan from the Nigerian Agricultural and Cooperative Development Bank (NACDB) to execute some of its programmes on agriculture. This was disclosed by the Secretary to the the state government (SSG), Alhaji Sarafa Tunji Ishola, while briefing newsmen on the outcome of the last state Executive Council meeting in Abeokuta. He added that the meeting equally received the proposal on mortgage financing on housing for the bulk of the state civil servants, adding that government has approved the construction of two general hospitals to be built in Atan and Itori in Ijebu North East and Ewekoro Local Government areas respectively. According to the state scribe, the approval was part of the fulfillment of the electoral promises to people of the state, saying the construction of the two hospitals would bring health care delivery closer to the grassroots. He stated that government had equally approved the rehabilitation of the leaking roofs of the Oba Lipede market, Abeokuta, Ita - Osu market, Ijebu - Ode and the June 12 Cultural Centre, Abeokuta. According to Ishola, all these projects would be handled by one of the Oodua Conglomerate.
