Let's Sanitise Apapa Local Government - Chairman Lagos By Theresa Moses Chairman of Apapa Local Governent Alhaji Muniru Muse has enjoined all stakeholders in the local government to cooperate towards restoring the lost glory of the local government. Muse while speaking with the executive of Apapa GRA Residents Association (AGRA) in his office, said so many factors hinder total cleanliness in the local Government. He identified the collusion of some landlords who surround their houses with shanties in attempts to make money. Muse lamented that some unscropulous agents assist some people to remain in such shanties despite efforts to eject them. "It's rather unfortunate that some people politicise the welfare of the people. My efforts ever since coming to the office has been to ensure that the welfare of the people is guranteed" he said. This according to him has taken him to the military base in Apapa where he spoke with the head of signals on the deplorable situation of the local government and at the same time requested his assistance in making the local government clean.
