NFA Shop for Free Coach NFA chairman Ibrahim Galadima has told www.kickoffnigeria.com that they are shopping for a top coach, who is presently not engaged. "We are looking for a free coach, who can take up the job almost immediately," Galadima told www.kickoffnigeria.com from his home in Kano. "Hopefully, we should get such a coach before our next qualifying game against Zimbabwe in September." The NFA chieftain informed www.kickoffnigeria.com that the soccer body has already got feedback from FIFA regarding an application to furnish them with the names and CVs of such coaches. "After a little delay, FIFA got back to us with the information we needed on Monday. We therefore hope to look at the findings of the technical committee and convene an emergency meeting before we leave for the Olympics in Athens by 12 August," said Galadima. Galadima also hopes that they will get a firm commitment from telecoms company Globacom in the coming week in respect of footing the bills of the expatriate coach. "We have received good signals from Globacom on this matter but we could not meet this week because of the unfortunate death of Edozie Enemuo (NFA marketing chief). But we are confident we can get a guarantee from them in the coming week which we will then pass on to the ministry for their approval," said the top soccer shot.
