ILO, Ministry Train Workers on Labour Issues From Juliana Taiwo in Abuja International Labour Organisation (ILO) and the Ministry of Labour and Productivity yesterday began a collaborative workshop on Convention 111, 138 and 182 on Discrimination, Employment and Minimum Age of Elimination of the Worst Forms of Child Labour in Abuja. Minister of Labour and Productivity, Dr. Hassan Muhammad Lawal, said the training programme, which has to do with International Labour Standards and Report Writing, two variables that are very crucial for the welfare and effectiveness of the workforce on one hand and benefits to the citizens on the other hand, was a welcome development that would better equip the participants with skills and techniques to discharge their functions effectively.
