Obasanjo Pledges Support for Firm From Josephine Lohor in Abuja President Olusegun Oba-sanjo yesterday in Abuja pledged that the Federal Gover-nment would revitalise the Nigeria Machine Tools Limited (NMT), Osogbo. Speaking after a presentation by The Welding Institute (TWI) of the United Kingdom at State House, on making NMT achieve optimum results after a comprehensive review, the President said the Federal Government would also explore external funding for the revitalisation of the NMT. Also on Tuesday, Obasanjo received directors of British American Tobacco (BAT) Nigeria led by its Chairman, Mr Nick Hales. He commended BAT for its investment in Nigeria describing it as "a mark of confidence in the country," while urging it to do more and expand its tobacco farms.
