'Use Your Experience to Develop Kogi State' From Yinka Kolawole in Lokoja Kogi State Government has charged members of the seven boards it inaugurated yesterday, to use their wealth of experience for the rapid socio - economic development of the state. The state Deputy Governor, Mr Philip Salawu, gave the charge at the inauguration of the boards, adding that the action was a major step by the state government to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of democracy dividends to the citizenry. He advised them to avoid sectional and ethnic considerations in their decisions, disclosing that government will monitor the activities of the appointees to ensure that they fulfill their mandate. Salawu said the administration in the last 14 months has been receiving positive response from rural dwellers about project initiations and execution. He, however, asked civil servants to cooperate with the board members, for effective delivery of democracy dividends. The Board Chairman, Chief Joe Idachaba, promised to justify the confidence reposed in them by the governor.
