ICT: Anambra Seeks Ogun Govt Assistance From Toba Suileman in Abeokuta The Anambra State Government has sought the assistance of Ogun State Government in its plan towards developing her own Information and Communication Technology Centre (ICT) in the state. The Anambra State Deputy Governor, Chief Ugochukwu Nwankwo gave the indication during a courtesy visit to the Secretary to the Ogun State Government (SSG) Alhaji Sarafa Tunji Ishola. Nwankwo who expressed satisfaction upon his visit to the South-West Resource Centre (SRC), Abeokuta, pointed out that the purpose of his visit was to share the same ideology with the Ogun State Government. According to him, the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) of Ogun State would benefit a lot of people in the state. Describing the ICT project as a good move towards improving the economic status of the state, Nwankwo stressed that Anambra would also be ready to plan similar ICT programme. "Our government would be planning a similar ICT programme, and we would be ready and willing to receive assistance from Ogun State Government in this regard" Nwankwo said. While expressing satisfaction with the level of development especially in the area of Information Technology in Ogun State, Nwankwo commended the state governor Otunba Gbenga Daniel for executing various people oriented projects that could benefit the masses of the state. Responding, the SSG, Alhaji Sarafa Tunji Ishola said the Anambra State Deputy Governor's visit was to acquint him with ICT programme in the state. He discolsed that the state would be willing to do business with any state wishing to share the vision of the present administration aimed at moving the country forward.
