Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Professor David Ker, at a dinner organized in honour of the chairmen on Monday, said the event was a gesture of appreciation of the momentous decision that the chairmen took at their Joint Account Meeting of June 25,2004 to make a monthly release of N500,000 each for a period of six months.  “The university proposes to build three large lecture theatres that could seat 1000 students each. Inaddition, there will be ten offices for academic staff in each building”, Ker explained. He noted that the men who took the historic decision deserve a place in the history of education in Benue State and assured them that the structures will be erected in record time and that the chairmen will be invited for the commissioning ceremony.
