UBA Now Payment Agent for Abuja C of O United Bank for Africa has been appointed one of the collecting Banks for the de-certification and re-issuance payments by landowners in Abuja City. Application forms, a statement from the bank explained, can be obtained at any UBA Branch nationwide. Forms can also be downloaded from the following websites; www.abujagis.com or recertification@abuja .com . Abuja landowners are expected to pay a non-refundable C of O re-certification and re-issuance processing fee of N1 0,000 and other land charges to AGIS Revenue account at any UBA Branch nationwide. UBA has over 250 branches nationwide including two offshore branches in New York and Grand Cayman Islands. The Bank currently has 176 of these branches on-line, the highest among the banks in the country. It would be recalled that UBA was also earlier on in the year, appointed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) as one of the lO Settlement Banks and also been designated 'Collection Agent' for the Federal Parastatals such as NITEL, NEPA, M-Tel, FIRS, MTN Nigeria, NCS, CAC,VAT and Stamp Duties. This means that settlement of bills and taxes due to any of the institutions can now be effected at any of UBA's branches, nationwide. The statement therefore urge customers to take advantage of the opportunity of relatively easy and efficient 'One Stop Shop' banking.
