Guinness Nigeria re-brands Stout By Dele Alao Business Reporter, Lagos   For the first time, Guinness Nigeria Plc, last Friday night, at the exclusive Guinness BlackGold concert, held at Ocean View Restaurant, Victoria Island, Lagos, unveiled its newlook famous Stout brand. The brand now has a new bottle shape and design. The newlook is said to be contemporary and stylish and a reflection of the modern Guinness consumer in Nigeria without compromising the rich, great taste and quality of the brand. While Guinness Stout was the headline act of the celebration concert, entertainment was provided by international superstar, Wyclef Jean, who was flown in especially for the event by Guinness Nigeria Plc. Speaking on the newlook   Stout, Guinness Nigeria Plc, Managing Director, Mr. Keith Richards, said  “ I am delighted to reveal our new bottle tonight, which is designed to reflect the lifestyles and aspirations of Nigerians today and in the future. The new bottle is modern, yet retains classic elements of the design that consumers know and have loved for over 150 years. It will ensure that the experience of drinking Guinness continues to be the best of any Stout and beer brand in Nigeria. “ We are proud to have made this significant investment in our consumers and our brand, and I hope that people will join us in celebrating the launch of the new bottle.” The spectacular concert was attended by a glamorous crowd of Lagosians style and was also broadcast live countrywide. The   concert tour, which began in Lagos and would climax today in Abuja. While Guinness will be conducting a national tour, visiting 11 cities over the next two months, to support the roll- out, the new Stout bottle is being rolled out across the country immediately.       Copyright� 2002.
