Already, his son, Adedayo, and his son-in-law, Adetokunbo Coker, an engineer, are in London to put finishing touches to how to bring his corpse home. They both left the country aboard a British Airways flight last Monday, (August 9). The late senior advocate, it would be recalled, died last Sunday at St. Thomas’ Hospital, London. A statement issued in Lagos and signed by the late legal icon’s daughter Justice Adenike Coker, said the family was deeply shocked by the tragic loss. The late Akande, she added in the statement "left Lagos Saturday morning (August 7) on board Virgin Atlantic flight for what was to be the beginning of a very restful vacation. His wife, Prof. Jadesola, former vice-chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU), children and grand children were to have joined him-this week for the holidays. "We are deeply shocked by this tragic loss."
