Four Districts Owe NEPA N6.4bn Gombe From Saka Ibrahim in Gombe Electricity consumers are owing the National Electricity Power Authority (NEPA) about N6.4 billion in four districts in Plateau State. Chief Zonal Operational Manager, Mr Oladele Adeola, who disclosed this to newsmen after launching NEPA anti-corruption crusade in Gombe said out of the amount, Jos district alone owes N2.4 billion. According to him, Gombe consumers are owing N971 million and the authority was desperate to recover the amount, so that NEPA could render the required services to the people. Adeola, however, commended the state government for not owing the authority. Said he, "we are making effort to recover the debt and at the same time appeal to our customers to pay up."
