Court Adjourns Murder Hearing Lagos By Nike Mesagan An Ikeja Magistrate Court, presided over by Mrs. Olagbege Adelabu, has adjourned further hearing in an attempted murder trial involving one Princess Josephine till September 24. Bail in the sum of N500,000 had earlier been granted the accused person on March 15. Princess Josephine was alleged to have conspired with two other persons between August 2003 and February 22, 2004 at Isheri Magodo GRA to attempt murdering Mr. Gbenga Ashafu and Engineer P.T. Omotosho, an offence punishable under Criminal Code Cap 31. At the Court yesterday, Chief Awoniyi, counsel to Princess Josephine had informed court that the matter had gone up to Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 2, Onikan, and that lot of injustice had allegedly been perpetuated. However, Mrs. O.A. Olugasi, prosecution counsel, had told court that her witness, Omotoso, a civil servant was not around in court to prove his case.
