MBSL President Visits Nigeria Lagos One of the fastest growing bakery equipment manufacturing company in Nigeria, Macadams Baking Systems Limited (MBSL) recently played host to its International President, Mr. Richard Wilkes. Wilkes, whose visit was the sixth in the last two years, had a series of meetings with the stakeholders in the baking industry. Commissioning a new bakery company, Master's Bakery in Ikota Shopping Complex, Ajah, Lagos, Wilkes described it as a medium size bakery for commercial purposes and all the equipment were supplied by Macadams. He noted that Nigeria is a big market, saying he commissioned four new bakeries in Lagos alone, which showed how their product is highly appreciated and acceptable in the country. The president observed that Nigerian bakers would be pulled up to the new age of technology in place of mud oven, adding that arrangements are underway for good and affordable finance for those who do not have cash to start off the bakery business. He noted that there is a need to get rid of the mud oven because it destroys the environment, burns all the trees and destroys the ozone layer. In his address, the company's Managing Director, Prince Toye Oyinlola said the company is working hard to start a baking school before the year runs out, noting that many companies would benefit from this exercise.
