SAHCOL Acquires Six New Tow Tugs Skypower Aviation Handling Company Limited (SAHCOL)has taken delivery of six brand new DOUGLAS TYPE DC 4.5 Tow Tugs which the company acquired recently. The equipment were purchased from Douglas Equipment Limited (DEL) of Cheltenham, England, a world-leading manufacturer of aircraft ground Support equipment. The tugs which are basically meant for the towing of baggage/cargo and also have the capability of pushing back light aircraft up to B737 fully laden. Earlier, SAHCOL'S team of engineers and technicians have undergone intensive hands-on training in the use and maintenance of the equipment and related technologies. The team also witnessed the equipment in the process of manufacture and assembly. SAHCOL believes that the tugs would undoubtedly position it to provide excellent services to clients as well as support the desire of the Federal Government in making Lagos a hub of Africa's air transportation.
