Adekunle: Ejinkeonye was unfair to him
I read the article by Ugochukwu
Ejinkeonye on Benjamin Adekunle, titled, "Adekunle:The BurdenOf Bood-Guilt " published on
Wedneday, 28 July 2004.
I found some things wrong about his view.Ugochukwu, I think you are filled with hatred andyou are not ready to forgive anybody
that participated in the Biafra War which was against the Igbo. Have you ever
had military training or have you gone to a military school before? Before you
startto nail any man to cross,
try being in his shoes. You are an Igbo or SouthSouth man who does'nt see the other side of Biafra. Try
reading a book on the war..... I suggest:Wrealth of the Maidens.I may be
wrong about the title now, but I saw it with somebody and I learnt from it too.
You claim he (Adekunle)caused greater sin, but you forgot the brain behind the
show down: the so called ourgood
people now that are killing us each and every day, destroying our future.
Instead of trying to accept him for his role as a
military man used by this old fools, you are busy castigating this pun. If you
were to be older in those days, you would have been recruited into our force
and you would have known what it takes to be a man of war. I will still write
you and comment constructively after finding details about every thing
surrounding Adekunle and the war. Just tryto be a good Christian that you claim to be in addressing
issues. Find thecause of every issue
and stand with the truth.
