ICAN Calls for Bill on Due Process From Kunle Aderinokun in Abuja Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Abuja District Society, has called for a bill to be enacted to back the Due Process for posterity as it expressed its support for the mechanism. Speaking with THISDAY over the weekend in Abuja, ICAN Chairman, Mr. Fred Okonta, pointed out that the office was saving the country a lot funds from over-bloated contracts which should be encouraged. But he lamented that studies carried out by the district society showed that in spite of the good work the office is doing, most people especially public servants are ignorant of the mechanism, thus informing the decision of the society to organize aworkshop about it. The workshop called the First Annual National Workshop would focus on the theme "Having a Better Understanding of the Due Process Office."
