Okorocha Buys Presidential Plane From Josephine Lohor in Abuja Rochas Group, a company owned by the Special Adviser to the President on Inter-party Relations, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, yesterday won the bid for the purchase of one of the two planes put up for sale in the Presidential Airfleet. Rochas Group's offer of N111.8 million for the 1976 Executive Gulfstream II (G.11) was accepted by the bid committee headed by the President's Principal Secretary, Mr. Stephen Oronsaya. Yesterday's final bid was a follow-up to Tuesday's inconclusive session to the inability of the six out of seven bidders for the two aircraft billed for sale - G.11 and H5125 - to meet the reserve prices. The Rochas Group, however, added N20 million to what it offered for the G.11 on Tuesday, just as three out of the five companies which bidded same day made representations yesterday.
