Forum Cautions on Abia PDP Crisis Abia The lingering crises in the Abia State branch of People's Democratic Party has begun to attract a lot of concern to Abia State citizens outside the state, the latest being the report over the disruption of a due process and cannibalisation of the party's secretariat and the invasion of the state capital, Umuahia by forces said to be disloyal to the administration of the party in the state to cause action capable of endangering peace in Abia. The development which was described as highly disturbing by the leadership of Ndi-Abia consultative forum has been assessed and found volatile enough to disorganise structures put in place by the government of the day to bail the state from underdevelopment. This observation was made by the President General of the organisation, Dr Emmanuel Aguzie Ndukwe, while addressing members at a meeting of the forum held at its 27 Amai Street secretariat, Lagos. The Lagos medical practitioner regretted the fact that this dastardly act erupted a few weeks after the forum has used for peace and equally invited the conscience of well-meaning citizens of Abia to come together for the benefit of all.
