Nurses Charged on Responsibilities From Abel Orih Idoma in Yola Nurses and midwives of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Yola, have been charged to pay unhindered attention to their primary responsibilities instead of fretting over job security. The Hama Bachama, King Homun Zadok, gave the charge yesterday, while receiving executive members of National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives (NANNM), Yola chapter, who paid him a courtesy visit in his palace. He observed that the over 400 staff of the hospital who have served the institution for over five years cannot be made to lose their jobs unnecessarily, just because somebody feels it has to be so, promising that the state government would intervene with a view to solving the problem permanently. According to the former Commissioner of Information, "honestly, I was at a loss as to why I deserve this homage, incidentally, I have been reminded that those little things that I did, and almost forgot I did them, have been registered so greatly in your minds.
