Dangote Produces Eight New Millionaires By Patrick Ugeh Eight people and organisations who won one million each in Week 6 of the Dangote Be A Millionaire Draws emerged at the weekend while eight others who won in Week 5 were also issued their cheques. The new one million naira winners, who were drawn out of 14,000 entries, are Alhaji Tanka, S.I. of Mafaradon, Sokoto in the spaghetti category; Hopewell Concept Ltd. of Port Harcourt in the Macaroni consumer category, Susan O of Jos, and Emmy Frank of Onitsha in the Macaroni distributor category. Others are Kassim Idris of Kano, and Rikky Bakery of Port Harcourt in the Flour consumers category while Ibrahim Adams of Maiduguri and Bello Radda of Kano won one million naira each in the Flour distributors category. At the draws which took place in the studio of NTA 2 channel 5, Lagos, eight winners will take away consolation prizes ranging from television sets and hi-fi systems to fridges and electricity generators. They are Bilikisu Mustapha of Lagos, Sanusi Mustapha of Kano, Lateef Akintunji of Adamawa State, Salisu Sambajo of Kano, Obinatu Ifechukwu of Edo State, Nikky Bakery of Aba and Ali Balarabe of Kano. To add spice to the affair, renowned actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo, had earlier presented cheques to the winners of the previous week's draws. The Week 5 winners who were given their N1 million cheque are Alhaji Tijanni Abubakar of Kano, Innoma Supermarket, Yakubu Mohammed of Kaduna, Midasam Ltd of Lagos and Ejidike Bakery of Jos, Mrs Mary Bamidele of Akwanga, Winok Investment of Enugu and Ola Jesu of Shagamu. All of the winners, six of whom were present, expressed profound gratitudes to the organisers of the promo, Dangote Group of Companies to for making it possible for them to become millionaires. They pledged to continue buying Dangote products and to recommend them to friends and relations. A plaque was later present to Mofe-Damijo for voluntarily identifying with Dangote Group of Companies.
