DTI South Africa Sponsors Chamber Members In recognition of the crusial role the Nigerian-South African Chamber of Commerce plays in facilitating investment opportunities towards the alleviation of poverty in the country and the rest of Africa, two of its members, Total Health Trust and Modebe Enterprises are being sponsored by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), South Africa, to participate in the Business Growth and Opportunities for Africa Forum (BGOAF), scheduled to take place between September 1st and 4th 2004, at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa. The DTI package includes free return flight tickets, subsidized local transfers and free participation. The Business Forum, conceptualized as a follow-up to the 2002 Johannesburg World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD), is an annual event aimed at promoting concreted African responses to the WSSD outcomes as contained in the Johannesburg Plan of Action and to the overall objectives of NEPAD.
