Kogi Tennis Gets Date By Femi Solaja Still counting the gains of the brilliant display at the last Central Bank tournament, tennis faithfuls are to converge again for the 6th Kogi State Governor U-17 tournament, which holds from 17th-24th of next month. According to the Assistant Secretary of the Nigeria Tennis Federation (NTF) Andrew Akali, the federation and Achievers Sports Academy of Nigeria, will jointly organise the tournament. He said NTF had sent out invitations for entries to all the affiliated states and it is hoped that the competition will receive a larger participant than the last edition. He said players are expected to arrive a day before the commencement of the competition and the state associations will be responsible for the feeding and accommodation of the players. The scribe went further that only players born in 1987 and after are eligible and are expected to come with their birth certificates or International Passport for registration.
