The General Manager of the hotel, Mr. Vincent Ugbor said: "At a hotel boasts a lot of space in the rooms which have internet time the project was becoming so unrealistic. It was looking as if it was very hard to realise and we started having fears whether the property was going to be abandoned.

Ugbor said: " I believe the best form of defence is attack. So, the best thing we have to do is to increase our capacity and it is a platform to compete in the market and that's why we went into expansion. Right now, , if you don't have rooms, even when things are good, you cannot compete. So, we want a large share of the market.
He added that "it really coming to a situation where hotels that are not strongly positioned will go under."

" We have some packages which we are entering into agreement with some airlines with the aim of encouraging people to stay back in Abuja instead of travelling out. So, it is a kind of cost-benefit analysis. How much will it cost you to leave Abuja to Lagos to come back on Monday? So we are developing some packages to encourage people stay back for the weekend," he said.
