Magnum Trust Bank Connects Western Union In recognition of its excellent service delivery and rapid branch network expansion,Magnum Trust Bank Plc has been appointed a subagent of the Westen Union Money Transfer. This was disclosed to THIS DAY in a release signed by Mr Joe Uchea, Head, Corporate Affairs. With the appointment, members of the public can now walk into any of the bank's branches nationwide, and receive money sent to them by friends and relatives abroad in specified currency naira or dollar. In a similar development, the bank has added another branch to its network in Benin City. This appointment is in recognition of the Bank's excellent services and good branch network. Of its 28 branch networks, 20 are in Lagos while the rest are strategically located in Abuja, Ibadan, Ore, Kano, Ota, Port Harcourt and Onitsha. All the branches are linked to provide online real time financial services. As part of efforts to bring its unique services to the banking public, the bank will open more branches in more cities across the country. Recently, the bank was appointed by NEPA and NITEL to collect rates on behalf of the two parastatals. The appointment is also a confirmation of Management's resolve to continuously add value to customer service through the provision of wellconceived products and services.
