redeploys 23 comptrollers

The
Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) on Thursday re-deployed 23 comptrollers in a
major shake up.
The shke
up, approved by the Comptroller-General of Customs, Mr. Jacob Gyang Buba,
showed that 11 area comptrollers are redeployed to new commands, while seven
new ones were appointed to head area commands.
A
statement from NCS headquarters in Abuja indicated that those redeployed
include Comptroller Jerry Alagboso of Calabar Port who takes over in Tin-Can
Island Port, Abiodun Adeogun, who was moved from Onne Port to Port Harcourt
Area 1, and Gabriel Aliyu moved from Kano to Calabar Port.
Others
are: Comptroller Nnanna K.A from Tin Can Island to Warri Port, Comptroller
Eno Ofem from Warri to Kano/Jigawa, Comptroller Garba Makarfi from Port
Harcourt to Kaduna/Katsina and T.V. Anpe From Katsina/Kaduna to the Federal
Capital Territory.
Some
others are Daniel Jatau from FCT to Sokoto/Kebbi/Zamfara, Kamal Yusuf from
Abia/Imo to Bornu/Yobe, Bello Abdullahi from Adamawa/Taraba to Imo/Abia and
Godwin Tingir from Western Marine to Kogi/Kwara/Niger.
The seven
new comptrollers redeployed from headquarters unit include Muazu Umar to head
Adamawa/Taraba, John Atte (Ogun), Ahmed Aliyu (Onne Port) and Shakiru Yisa
(Western Marine).
