Nations/World Cup qualifier in Harare against the Warriors of Zimbabwe.

Kaalu said Tuesday that the team would depart for Harare on September 1, just a
day after arriving England making it difficult for the team to even trainthere before departure.
The technical crew
led by Christian Chukwu will leave the country along with goalkeepers, Vincent
Enyeama, Sunday Rotimi and Obinna Nwaneri aboard South Africa Airways on the
said date, while other Europe based players will join the team in London.
Top players led by
skipper, Austin Okocha have reportedly assured of their readiness for the duel
against Zimbabwe come September 5.
Kaalu said the
players gave the assurance to NFA Scribe, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi during his
recent visit to England in connection with the hiring of a new manager for the
national team.Among the players
that have pledeged their readiness for the encounter apart from Okocha are
Yakubu Aiyegbeni, John Utaka, Seyi Olofinjana, Seyi Olajengbesi, Joseph
Enakharire, Julius Aghahowa and Wilson Oruma. Joseph Yobo also reportedly
echoedthe word of the Scribe
regarding his club career and readiness for the tie.
