'Why We're Staging Exhibition' From Juliana Taiwo in Abuja Organisers of the Inter-national Solid Minerals, Gemstones, Handicraft/ Tourism and Agricul-tural Exhibition (ISGHA) holding at Halle Munsterland, Messen Congresse, Germany from September 17-19, aside from being organised to expose Nigeria's mineral resources to the world, was specifically requested for by potential investors in Germany. The President and Chief Executive of Explore Techno-logies and Minerals Marketing Company Ltd, Mayor Nwa-nebi, said the exhibition tagged, ISGHA 2004 with the theme, "Promoting Growth and Investment in the Nigeria Solid Mineral, Tou-rism and Agricutlral Industry" is the biggest showcase of Nigeria products and services from the Solid Minerals, Gemstones, Handicraft/Tourism and Agricultural sectors of the Nigeria economy. He disclosed that it is to create a platform for prospective collaboration of investors and partners for Nigerian businesses from the largest economics of the European Union and lamented that out of the 36 states of the federation including Abuja, only five states (Adamawa, Cross River, Edo, Enugu and Kwara) have indicated interest to participate at the exhibition even with 40 stands provided free of charge.
