Fidelity Bank Expands Branch Network By Susan Olarinde Management of Fidelity Bank has concluded arrangements to open branches in the three cities of Aba, Enugu and Ibadan in its bid to serve the needs of its customers across the country. In a statement by the bank, the branch already existing in the commercial city of Aba, the new Aba branch would be located in the city centre while the Enugu branch, located at Ogui Road, in the heart of the city, would be coordinating the operations of the bank in the South-east geopolitical zone, especially branches at Onitsha, Nkpor and Nnewi. The Ibadan branch located at Jimoh Odutola Street, Dugbe would be the headquarters of an enlarged South-western regional operations of the bank. The statement noted that the branch expansion programme is in line with Fidelity's strategic vision of reaching out better to its customer base, adding that the bank has a unique approach to branch expansion which ensures that any new branch clearly represents a "real opportunity to serve existing customers better or to be able to serve an emerging clientele". The three new branches according to the statement, will play very strategic roles, not only in consolidating Fidelity's operations, but also coordinating the activities of various units in the relevant regions.
