In his acceptance speech before over 5000 lawyers, a highly elated Chief Ojo, said, enhancement of lawyers welfare, will form the bulwark of his administration.

Chief Ojo, who at the 2002 delegate conference at Ibadan, Oyo State, stepped down for Chief Olanipekun, urged his co-contestants for the office to join hands with him in order to "lift the association to another horizon".

Lauding the outgone executive for efforts at giving the associate a sense of direction, Chief Ojo urged lawyers to be more committed so as to help NBA play its role in a democratic Nigeria.

The five-day event featured several papers aimed at enhancing continued legal education, even as it attracted over 5000 lawyers from all 88 branches of the association.
