APGA Embarks on Reorganisation From Emmanuel ugwu in Enugu Leadership of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has embarked on a nation-wide reorganisation and repositioning of the party in order to face future challenges and accommodate more members in its fold. National chairman of the party, Chief Chekwas Okorie made this known weekend while addressing newsmen at Enugu after the inauguration of a caretaker executive for the Imo State chapter of APGA. He said since the 2003 general elections numerous Nigerians have been coming to identify with APGA and its agfenda to move the nation forward hence the party's National Working Committee (NWC) had resolved at its meeting in january 2004 to embark on the reorganisation of the party to meet with the trends. According to Okorie, the reorganisation of the party structure has become necessary "to admit and accommodate those who aspire to pursue their political ambition on the platform of APGA."
