'Neglect of Poor Dangerous' Lagos An Aviation expert and Seasoned Administrator Mr. Ganiyu Olatunji Adebayo, has warned the wealthy and the privileged few, on the consequence on neglect of the poor. To this end, he berated the nonchalant attitude of some wealthy, privileged few, who pretended to assist the poor to grow successfully in life. Speaking at the formal dedication and commissioning of the Tunji Adebayo Foundation, recently in Lagos, by the state Commissioner for Youths, Sport and Social Development, Mr Opeyemi Bamidele. He stressed the need for continued assistance of the less privilege. Adebayo a formal Chief Executive of the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO), while narrating his experience at tender age, reiterated that he was lured to set up the foundation, by virtue of his pledge to God and also to naturally provide the milk of passion, to the teeming suffering masses. He urged Nigerians not to saddle the government alone, with the burden of shouldering the responsibility, as the wealthy people in the society can readily make available such funds to cushion their expectations. The Aviation Expert therefore warned on the need for good governance as well as improved infrastructure and provision of job opportunities in other to put smiles on their faces. He therefore advised the wealthy, privileged and corporate bodies to please rise up to the challenges of unemployment and other political, social and economic problems in the country, by complementing government efforts in this direction, as government could not do it alone. In his remarks the Hon. Commissioner, Barrister Opeyemi Bamidele while extolling the virtues of Mr. Ganiyu Olatunji Adebayo, urged people of king, passionate hearts, to emulate such laudable drive in order to reduce the tension in the country.
